Cook Out — Restaurant in Prattville

Rude workers. So today, my wife and I went for a tray.. Upon entering, we immediately noticed our feet were sticking to the floor and their were footprints and just nasty floors... I said out loud to her well if the dining room is this gross, imagine what the kitchen looks like... Nobody was inside eating, there was papers and a calculator on one table, kind of weird.. I thought well it IS 3 PM.. Nobody was at the counter so we were looking at the menu and all of a sudden like rain from a cloud, BOOM!, enter Sandman! This skinny white guy about 5'11" brown hair comes busting around the corner, You guys can't be in here, I guess the maintenance man left the door open, you gotta use the drive thru... We apologized and asked if we could have a menu to look at, he said they don't have any, we asked can we just look at the menu real quick he took a long pause then huffed and said sure. Well then we asked this really nice black lady who worked there if she could take our order and we would go through the drive thru to pick it up. She said yes! Then he comes running back out into dining room and tells us we have to leave now. He then checks the doors by the registers and they were locked! We said okay, turned around and pried our sticky soles up off the floor and left through the unlocked door we came in on, drove around and straight to another restaurant. We won't...

Tables were very clean,the floor wasnt clean.puddle of standing water under the order counter with misc trash and roll of reciept paper soaking in the puddle. Ordered for 2 people,our orders were partially mixed when recieved.i had my wifes hush puppies,her order had my fries. My wifes pulled pork was ordered just pork and bbq,came with coleslaw and something else. Not a big deal. The tea machine was labeled wrong,sweet tea was regular tea,regular was sweet. The whole order process was about 10 mins total,average wait from order till food in hand. Besides that,the staff was normal operating. While waiting for my order a few drive thru people came in for incomplete orders. The food flavor was what i call average,gas station quality. Price was reasonable. Dont think id stop there again,not that it was bad,was just ok. The fries tasted great. The hotdog and chilli with cheese,the chilli n cheese taste and looks like its from gas station nacho/cheese/chilli dispensors.its decent flavor,but again just average gas station flavor n style. I believe their advertisment reprents their signature flavor n style,here in louisiana its typical gas station flavor,not great....but not bad. With all that said,im thankfull for the meal on that day.it was the first time id heard of this place,first...

They will not honor the prices on their DIGITAL menu, and they didn't understand how their own menu works! I ordered a cookout tray that comes with two sides and a drink. You are supposed to be able to sub out a shake for a drink for an extra dollar.

They literally charged me the wrong amount for everything I ordered, as you can see in the pictures: I got charged 5 dollars for the tray (wrong - should have been 5.99) - decrease of 17% $.59 for house style - menu says $.39 - increase of 50% Shake - should have been an extra $1, charged $3.99 - increase of 300 % Nuggets: $1.99, menu says 1.39 - increase of 50% subtotal: should have been 8.77, was 11.57 - extra 32%

I understand costs go up, but for goodness sake, you can't have one price on your digital menu, and then charge another! I know it's only a few dollars, but it is significant when you are looking at percents.

And when I asked, they said that the 5.99 was only for the sandwich and the sides and drink were extra. They said corporate hasn't updated the menu to show the higher prices.

It's unfortunate because everyone in my family likes their food, but I can't recommend going to a place that can't even give you the right prices on a menu that they don't even have to reprint. That's called lying, and I for one will...
