Update 1/22/19: BBB just called to say BPS won't return their calls - they've made 5 attempts. You know a business is shady and has something to hide when they, as a BBB member, won't communicate with the BBB. Crooks!!! PLEASE read the following review if you're contemplating the purchase of a boat from BPS.
Purchased a Grizzly Sportsman 1860 on 6/15/18 - had issues during the 2 hr motor break-in. Bow lights flickered like strobe lights even w/ the onboard generator ON. Next morning onboard generator was leaking oil all over the rear deck after

Case in point, I had grown tired of the credit card pushers, the overly exuberant "free" vacation hawkers and the register round up guilt trips so I now avoid in store shopping if I can avoid it preferring online ship to home or free in store pickup (if you can avoid going further into the showroom). On this day I had arranged an in store pickup but as my wife was traveling with me, she wanted to look around. No problem I said but cautioned her that we would not get 20 steps in the door without the opportunity for the credit card offer would surely greet us. As I predicted, that offer of a free gift just for signing up for the Bass Pro credit card was there even before we could get through the turnstile. Once we declined we thought we were home free, such was not the case. As we passed the large aquarium glass, a cheerful employee approached with an offer of "let me show you what we have going on today". My lovely wife followed and was trapped in the "free vacation" spiel (read timeshare offer). Search online reviews of hidden fees, costly upgrade offers and more high pressure sales pitches if you take that first stay. Declined again. Finally the checkout. Thinking we had dodged everything they could throw at us, the cashier was their last chance to offer us the credit card yet again. No thanks. Then we get the round up option to help whatever the cause du jour is currently benefiting from Bass Pro's generosity. No thank you. (Cue the guilt) Lesson learned. I will do everything humanly possible to avoid setting foot inside these stores in the future. USPS, FedEx and UPS delivery drivers have never pressured me with sales pitches so from now on I'll take advantage of free shipping offers and...

One person was checking out, and one person was ahead of me. There were two associates working at the gun counter, Ed and Lance. One was helping with a purchase while the other was talking to a group of people. When he finished he began to do other things instead of help the customers at the gun counter. Two hours later my number was called. I filled out the documentation and began the process to pickup my firearm. The background check came back with a delayed status, which is no fault of Bass Pro. When asked what that meant, all I was told were ātheyāre busyā. Ok, so I left. I got the call Saturday that my background check cleared and I could pickup my firearm and all Iād have to do is sign for it. I came in and grabbed a number. Same thing, service was slow and nobody seemed to care. After about 15 minutes my wife went to customer service to ask if there was only one person working at the gun counter, the customer service associate asked if weād taken a number, and of course, we had. Within minutes an annoyed associate, Lance, came out of the back room and yelled ātake a number and weāll be with you as soon as possibleā. He called out two numbers, and nobody answered, they obviously left. Then it was my turn. I felt like my purchase didnāt matter to them and that I was just keeping them from doing something else. Had there been another store in the area with this pistol, I wouldāve left without completing my purchase. I wonāt shop at this particular...
