Mattress Firm Prattville — Hotel in Prattville

I’ve always dreamt of going into a mattress store. This was definitely a first for me. Well, us. We are newly weds and needed to buy 3 mattresses for our 6 kids. We really had thought our first time would be buying a mattress for ourselves. When we arrived, there was plenty of parking, we were right up front, no line at all. As I turned off my brights, I saw there was only one person in the store, the sales associate, who looked eager and greeted us promptly! We showed him our phone and told him exactly what we wanted. He took us to a wall, beyond all the plush empty available beds. The reason I’m subtracting a star is because he said the mattress we wanted wasn’t on the wall. I’m new to this.. why are there mattresses on a wall and why are we are being told it’s not on the wall. Well, my wife said, “yeah, it’s right here!” The sales associate confirmed it for us and fantastically rang us up! He had us wait by the door while he retrieved our receipt! DO NOT BUY A MATTRESS FROM THIS STORE!!! My husband and I bought a split king bed that we were very pleased with so when it came time to buy 2 twin beds, we immediately went back to Mattress Firm. This is a decision that we now regret. My daughter's bed frame and mattress were full of bed bugs. As well, while we were disinfecting the bed, we noticed rusty screws, staples, and other hardware on the bottom of the adjustable frame. Therefore, we realized that we had been delivered a used bed. We went to the store the next day and even called corporate. The regional manager at the store and the corporate employee both told us there was nothing that they can do for us. Obviously, Mattress Firm does not stand behind their return policies and do no care about their customers!...

Bought a King size mattress and box springs 3 years ago. The came in and quickly set it up and left. Today we took the bed apart as we are moving. One of the box springs is 5" shorter than the other. Obviously at delivery they realized this, and did it anyway. They arranged them so they were even at the bottom, but it was hidden by the headboard on top. They had to have noticed they were different sizes just sitting there in the truck. Truly disgusted at the laziness.

UPDATE: Contacted within hours of my review. Picked up a new box spring the next day. Mistakes happen, but Mattress Firm of Prattville was quick to fix the error. Totally satisfied with the mattress and how they have stood by their product...
