My husband and small son made last mintue arrangements to come up to Alabama on Dec 8, to see the snow that was coming! We called to see if there were any rooms available, and there were two left. We were able to put in our reservation and we arrived just as the snow was starting to fall. The front desk receptionist was busy at work but halted and was very attentive and friendly. Our room was very clean and our bed, "king size", was super comfy. It was nice and quiet. We woke up to fresh fruit, donuts, waffles, eggs, sausage, and so much more. Very very yummy and fresh!! We too discovered our car was broken into. Our window smashed in. We had no valuables in car but a jacket was stolen. It was cold!! When we discovered it, the receptionist, Asia was extremely understanding and assisted us with help of looking any information up for us to help in finding a speedy repair, also giving us towels to clean out the snow that had fallen in our car. The maintenence gentleman also found us, to offer a shop vac. Which helped us GREATLY! He stayed nearby to offer any more help. The staff couldn't have been more helpful during this upsetting time. We were able to get our car fixed on site and return to our plans for the day. So please thank your wonderful staff for their assistance and professionalism during our stay. We will return, as it was a comfortable stay, but needless to say, we will try to park our car in a better location next time. Also it couldn't hurt to have signs out on property that security cameras are on site so thieves will heed warning and could possibly aid in saving someone's...

However, this particular location has us questioning our choices for the future.|We did digital check-in and went straight to our room. When we were entering the room, a dog started barking from across the hall. Had we known this was a pet friendly hotel, we would have opted to stay elsewhere. We called the front desk to only be told that they would do what they could because they were alone and just too busy at the moment. The clerk continued to share how busy it was and that the check-in’s have been constant all night.||However, the dog kept barking for the next hour until we fell asleep after turning on our phones to play sound so we could block out the noise.||In the morning, we went for the breakfast and were disappointed tremendously when everything was picked over or just empty. No eggs, sausage, milk, bread. You could make a waffle or have pineapple. Apparently the hostess had been asked about the status multiple times because she sighed and responded to another guest that she’s working on it and can’t make the oven...
