Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Prattville

I know every place has there good days and bad days. Today, unfortunately was terrible. First thing right off: went to ladies restroom and both stalls were out of toilet paper and one of the stalls was puddled with something on the floor. I skiped using it, and just went to order. Had to wait several minutes because the entire staff was in back working on drive thru orders. When the girl came to take an order i had made a comment about them being short staffed and busy tonight. She then explained that everyone that was supposed to be there was in fact there and that they were just busy. Let me stop a second to let you know this particular woman was busting her butt and i am in no form mad. She was seen literally almost at a jog to keep up with drive thru orders and then taking orders at the front. My husband ordered something strawberry, and someone had placed the strawberries in the freezer and we had to wait on them to thaw. She apologized over and over and we patiently waited. The overall service was good but the store itself was in desperate need of a good cleaning. The ice machine was not puting out ice and there was a puddle of water coming out from the freezer area where the ice...

My wife and I went here for lunch after church today. Worst visit ever today. They gave us a table number since we were dining in. The young man behind the counter kept calling our number and I finally went to the counter and our food was to go. Ok I gave him that one cause it seemed like he was training and didn't know. My wife wanted ketchup and there was none on our table so I checked the other tables and all of them that had bottles were empty. Went to counter to get some and let them know there was not any in the dining room area. The young lady slammed the tub that they use for carry out down on the counter in front of me. The you lady that was making the blizzards and other deserts was out side smoking and other people had to wait til she was finished with her break to get there orders. When we got ready to leave I took our trash to the can and it was over flowing as though last night's trash had not been taken out before closing. We also noticed that the tables had not been cleaned and the restrooms were quit nasty to. Well not go back to this one for a while. Will go to the one on...

May 5, 2019 - while waiting for them to take our order I witnessed 2 people returning their burgers because they weren't done or prepared properly. The cashier was engaged in a dispute with the manager, none of the orders were getting out. The people in line in front of us had a simple to go order and had been in there 20 minutes

The cashier then want to apologize to me saying she had a personal problem with the manager. I told her didn't matter to me, but it's a team effort, and the team was failing miserably.

I was fairly hesitant to even order. Wanted the new hot brownie thing they had but they we're out of brownie. I got the dreamsicle dip cone. I've had it at other DQ's and loved it. This DQ had the temp up way too hot on the dip as the dreamsicle coating was thin and melting the ice cream. The ice cream was pretty good but then the cone was stale.

Not a good experience. Ill have to read a few good reviews before I ever try this place...
