The real hidden gem? Enrique’s in Prescott, WI đŸ˜đŸ”„ You know it’s the real deal when the owners’ kiddos are at the restaurant. The food? Chef’s kiss. The prices? Practically a crime. Two entrĂ©es, an app, AND drinks for about $35?? Babyyy that’s a DEAL 😭🙌 Large portions, amazing flavor, and I’m already planning my return for those wings 👀🍗 #HiddenGem #MomAndPopMagic #PrescottWI #FoodieFinds #fyp

I was back at Enrique’s today and had their Taco salad. Everything was fresh and tasty. It remains a must-stop place whenever I’m in the area. I am sure to get the Taco salad again next time. Note that if you’re not a fan of jalapeño peppers, you should ask them to go easy or leave them out altogether. I might ask them to put some fresh avocado on my taco salad next time too. The have a cozy outdoor patio as well as indoor dining options. This little joint sandwiched between a Dairy Queen and Subway is a hidden gem. Ample free parking in the lot right outside the restaurant. Family friendly too! I always try to plan my motorcycle rides along Wisconsin’s beautiful highway 35 (around Lake Pepin) to have lunch at Enrique’s. I’m hooked on their enchiladas, but I’m sure everything is tasty. Ingredients are fresh. Portions generous. The guys behind the counter and in the kitchen are friendly and seem to enjoy serving up their food. Outdoor seating available. It’s worth a trip to Prescot, WI, just to dine here.

Top notch Mexican eatin', made to order, been here since 2006, these cats know how to throw down some grub! We try to stop in everytime we're in Prescott, and have many times made the drive from St Paul to get our fix. Chips are homemade, burritos are big and stuffed with everything you crave. Staff is wonderful, today is my birthday and at the register I couldn't figure out how to use the ink pen, so I connected that I should know how to use a pen at 52....... FIFTY THREE years of age. The day was almost over and I hadn't spoken my age yet. I sat down to eat and she offered me birthday goodies, which I declined cuz I was stuffed on all that good stuff I me mentioned above. Don't pass on Enriques, and they're closed on Mondays.

I will never give Enrique my business again. I have been there three times. The food isn't bad, but Enrique's attitude is. I get a bowl, I like half chicken/barbacoa and I can't eat beans.

The first visit, was fine. I ordered through a (highschool aged?) guy. He said it would be .50Âą extra for half/half meat. I said no sweat. I took my order to go.

The second visit. I ordered the same thing. This time through Enrique. He was not happy about my request for half/half meat. He said he can't do it. I said you did last time. He said fine, it will be an extra $1.00. I agreed, and he continued to carry an attitude while making my food. Like I was a bother to him or something. Took my food and left.

The third visit. Sat down at an inside table with some family members. A young gal took our order. I ordered the same thing (I saw her write everything down) She said it would be an extra $2.00 for half and half. I laughed to myself and said that's fine. When I got my order. It had beans, which I had asked to be left out. So, I walk up to the counter. Enrique looks at me and I politely say I ordered this without beans. Enrique stares at me and I can see him getting more angry. He takes my food and slams it into the trash, starts yelling at this girl right in front of me, about how she needs to listen. Turns around and gives me an angry glare as he walks over to remake my order.

I will never give him...
