I will never give Enrique my business again. I have been there three times. The food isn't bad, but Enrique's attitude is. I get a bowl, I like half chicken/barbacoa and I can't eat beans.
The first visit, was fine. I ordered through a (highschool aged?) guy. He said it would be .50Âą extra for half/half meat. I said no sweat. I took my order to go.
The second visit. I ordered the same thing. This time through Enrique. He was not happy about my request for half/half meat. He said he can't do it. I said you did last time. He said fine, it will be an extra $1.00. I agreed, and he continued to carry an attitude while making my food. Like I was a bother to him or something. Took my food and left.
The third visit. Sat down at an inside table with some family members. A young gal took our order. I ordered the same thing (I saw her write everything down) She said it would be an extra $2.00 for half and half. I laughed to myself and said that's fine. When I got my order. It had beans, which I had asked to be left out. So, I walk up to the counter. Enrique looks at me and I politely say I ordered this without beans. Enrique stares at me and I can see him getting more angry. He takes my food and slams it into the trash, starts yelling at this girl right in front of me, about how she needs to listen. Turns around and gives me an angry glare as he walks over to remake my order.
I will never give him...

I am sure to get the Taco salad again next time. Note that if youâre not a fan of jalapeño peppers, you should ask them to go easy or leave them out altogether. I might ask them to put some fresh avocado on my taco salad next time too. The have a cozy outdoor patio as well as indoor dining options. This little joint sandwiched between a Dairy Queen and Subway is a hidden gem. Ample free parking in the lot right outside the restaurant. Family friendly too!
I always try to plan my motorcycle rides along Wisconsinâs beautiful highway 35 (around Lake Pepin) to have lunch at Enriqueâs. Iâm hooked on their enchiladas, but Iâm sure everything is tasty. Ingredients are fresh. Portions generous. The guys behind the counter and in the kitchen are friendly and seem to enjoy serving up their food. Outdoor seating available. Itâs worth a trip to Prescot, WI, just...
