Service not so good. Food was good
I have been to this location twice within a couple weeks apart on a Sunday around 8:30pm. Maybe this isn't a good day and time to go but I really felt my money to this place was not of importance. I went a couple of weeks ago and the visit started out ok. However we had to wait 10-15 minutes before seeing our waitress if we needed anything. By time we got ready to leave a big crowd came in and the wait got longer. I had to get up and ask for a lid for a to go container and once I got it, my waitress came by and informed me she had the lid I had asked her for. They didn't refill our drinks and i just felt service could have been a little better. I went against my instinct and went back last night. My visit was the exact same. We ordered chips and salsa which i thought were bottomless but wasn't even asked if we wanted more. Our Drinks were empty the entire meal and once we were half way into dinner, our waiter stopped by. He did bring back one refill for two people but in a dirty glass so it was put to the edge of the table hoping that our waiter or someone would at least acknowledge that we needed something. We were sitting in an aisle seat right by the kitchen so several staff walked by and each one would look to the left and did not even make eye contact with us. The waiter came back by after we paid the bill and I showed him the glass that was still sitting on the table. He asked if i wanted a to go cup and i kindly told him no. I would've liked to have my drink refilled while I was eating. We never saw a manager either time. There wasn't one person that even acknowledged that we were there other than the waiter and the guy who brought out the chips and salsa from the beginning. So again, I am not sure what crowd this location provides service to but i sure didn't feel as if they wanted my business. I am not a type of person that wants waitstaff at my table every 5 minutes but more than once at the beginning and once when i am leaving would be nice to see if anything is needed. I more than likely will not return to this location although its close to home but I will find a different location. * One...
Read moreHave you ever ordered chicken of any kind (salad, tenders, Parmesan, etc..) and were served something that resembled nothing like chicken? I just had a horrible experience, with an online order. Actually, it’s the second time that this particular Chili’s has botched an online order. Both times they somehow lost or ignored my online order. In both cases, it wasn’t until I had to call from the curbside pickup after the promised time had long passed that they actually started working on my order.
This time, they surpassed their own depths of ineptitude. When I get home with a Santa Fe Crispers Salad and a Caribbean Grilled Chicken Salad, I see that the fried chicken in the Crispers salad more than fits the name. The chicken had been dropped into the fryer multiple times. I literally had to saw through this chicken with a steak knife. There was very little edible chicken inside the triple deep fried, crusty “Crispers”. It’s so ironic that they’re called “Crispers”
Bad enough that they can’t master their own online ordering system, but apparently they can’t handle the basic of all basic cooking tasks like dropping chicken tenders into a deep fryer.
This is two times that this Chili’s has provide me an horrific customer experience. Fool me twice... And......I don’t believe that I’m the only one that has experienced the perils of their flawed online ordering system. In both instances, I’ve observed others with the same frustration with the curbside system. There are too many other restaurant options in Frisco and Prosper to subject yourself to this. If you do, good...
Read moreWe walked in hoping that at 3 on a Saturday it would be a good time. There wasn't a wait. We wanted an appetizer, just a snack. Every table in the bar area was dirty (almost the whole time we were there). We sit down at the bar and were greeted right away. Bartender, Kaylee, was sweet, but extremely inexperienced. Overheard her ask a manager what was in a screwdriver. She was young but definitely needs more bar experience to be behind a bar. My husband didn't even want to order a drink from her because she might not make it right or even know what he was asking for. Food came not on a good time and was tasty. Biggest disappointment was the table of Chili's employees sitting by the kitchen, at the end of the bar booths, talking all kinds of smack to each other, dropping f bombs, and being distributive. Just was not a good representation of Chili's because they had their work shirts on. They dont need to be talking like that where guests can hear them. It was very difficult to enjoy my meal with that going on behind us. I let the manager know but it didn't really seem to change their behavior. Additionally, the manager was less than professional. Untucked and dirty Chili's tshirt, baggy jeans, just not what I expected asking for a manager. Hope this place works on teaching their young high school staff how to behave and actually take care of a restaurant (dirty tables, attitude, speed of service, personality and respect). We paid quick and got out of there. Won't be going back. Texas Roadhouse next door has my full faith and pocketbook...
