I recently had the pleasure of dining at Phoke Noodle Vietnamese Restaurant in Prosper, and it was an experience worth sharing! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly staff who made me feel like a cherished guest in their home. Next, I indulged in their vermicelli noodles, a dish that was nothing short of perfection. The highlight of my meal, however, was the piping hot pho served in a stone pot. The presentation alone was stunning, with steam rising from the bowl, hinting at the hearty and fragrant broth within. First of all, I consider myself a bit of a pho snob and connoisseur. I used to live in Garland and would eat pho 3x a week at some really good places, so I was spoiled.

So when I heard a new pho place was opening near me, I was super excited, yet skeptical.

Today, my wife and I went in for the first time and were VERY HAPPY!!

We started out with an order of egg rolls, always a precursor of the quality of a good pho house. These egg rolls were maybe the best I’ve ever had. Packed tightly and thick with meat with a perfectly crispy wrapper. A lot of other places fill them mostly with cabbage and carrot to save money and are much skinnier. An added bonus, they had a higher quality chili oil/crisp ok the table for use that was delicious.

My wife likes veggie pho, which a lot of pho places do not offer. They offered here veggie, chicken, or traditional beef pho broth to use for her veggies. They vegetables were fresh cut and vibrant w boc choy, broccoli, carrots, and tofu.

I tried the rare steak meatball and brisket combo pho and was surprised to find the broth have depth and flavor I hadn’t tasted outside of garland. On top of that, they serve it in hot stone bowls, and my pho was hot to the last bite.

We spoke briefly w the owners Ty and Hannah when we checked out to complement them, and they seemed very nice and thankful for the visit.
