This is my favourite coffee place in Providence at the moment. Spacious, high ceilings, excellent coffee by baristas who know their beans, and fresh daily doughnuts from Knead. They have some sort of food menu too, probably with avocados on it, but I've honestly never seen past the doughnuts. Plus it's on Benefit Street, which is always a pleasure to visit, reminding you what beauty and history we have in our city.
My only negative about the place is that the wifi is super slow, but the atmosphere is quite fun as an alternative... However, when I tried to pay, my credit card was declined multiple times since it wasn’t a US card. I only had enough cash to cover the hot chocolate. I asked the staff to cancel the rest of the order, but to our surprise, they generously told us not to worry and gave us the mocha and Americano for free.
Their kindness truly made our visit...
