I ordered lunch on Postmates from this place in February 2020
Only good thing about this place is that it's cheap and gives large portions for the price. It's about $5-$6 for a pretty big crepe. Probably one of the cheapest full meals you can find on Postmates. But that's about all that's good about food from here.
I ordered two savory crepes, one ham and cheese crepe and one chicken and spinach crepe. First, the ham and cheese crepe. It smelled horrible, like something in it was rotten. There was a very pungent, sharp smell. Still tried it though, big mistake. Whole thing had a weird soapy taste, like I was eating crepe flavored dish detergent. Ham was like a rubbery disk and whole thing very greasy. Nothing good about it. Threw it out immediately.
Next, the chicken and spinach crepe. This one at least didn't smell and was edible. However, the chicken was very dry and tough, clearly very old leftover chicken from some time ago. "Spinach" appeared to just be spring mix from a box and was wilted and dry, like something you would find on top of a fast food pizza. Also same greasy quality. Got halfway through this one before giving up and feeding the chicken to the dog and threw the rest out.
Overall pretty disappointed with this place. Especially shocked since it has so many great reviews, I don't know, maybe the sweet crepes are good? Anyways, will not be ordering from here again and let everyone be warned against ordering their savory crepes.

Read moreHomophobic staff: I went here with my husband on Saturday October 5th around 4pm. As we were eating, the staff noticed two men sharing a scooter drove past the restaurant, causing no scene and harming nobody. This prompted the two men working at the store to loudly remark at how "mad embarrassing" it was to see guys in, I don't know, close proximity to one another, in a position in which they could be perceived as gay. They then continued to discuss how "only in the suburbs" would you see such behavior, and how "people are too comfortable" around here. Of course, during this, I am trying to quietly enjoy some food with my gay husband. Overhearing the staff's rant about how the people in Providence act too gay for their liking caused us to immediately leave without saying anything.
To the men staffing the restaurant: you are working at a crêperie in one of the most progressive cities on the planet -- I fear you may see some "behavior" which you might perceive as "comfortable". I invite you to consider that is it YOU who are "too comfortable" and "embarrassing", expressing your asinine, bigoted opinions loudly in a place where absolutely nobody wants to hear them, while on the clock.
It's a shame. I recently moved within 1 minute walking distance of this place and probably would have been a frequent customer. Seeing as I am not welcome here, I will not...
Read moreService was so bad today, I had to take the time to write a review. The crepes are ok, think of an upgraded burrito (more filling, more chewy and less delicate than a traditional crepe). However on the afternoon I came to dine (my second trip to the restaurant with my family) the guy behind the counter was working entirely too hard to be incomprehensibly rude. First, he ignored me while I waited to order even though no one else was in the line, then he seemingly took my drink order for 2 ice waters although refused to provide them after I paid and tipped. When I asked about the waters he said they can only give lukewarm water in these tiny Dixie cups with no ice. When I told him I wanted a regular size cup and that the last time I was here I received water, he responded: “sometimes we let it slide” huh??! Finally, he asked me are the crepes here are to go? I asked for a to-go container to which he replied:” just a heads up, if we put them in to go containers you have to get up and go, you can’t sit here” What? All why a college age woman sat eating her crepe from her to-go container in front of me. The whole experience was unnecessarily horrible all because of bad service. Hard to believe La Creperie is one of our corporate partners. I’ll make sure to share my experience. Hopefully there’s capacity for...
