I recently had the pleasure of dining at an amazing pizza spot in Providence, RI, and I couldn't wait to share my experience! The food was simply out of this world – piping hot, incredibly delicious, and truly spectacular. And let's not forget the pretzel – it was an unexpected delight that perfectly complemented the flavors of the pizzas.
Now, let's talk about the beer selection – it was mind-blowing! They had an impressive variety of flavors and types, and the fact that they offered different sizes, including samples, was a nice touch. The staff were top-notch too; our waiter was super friendly, courteous, and attentive, making our dining experience even more enjoyable.
But what really set this place apart was the arcade. They had a bunch of pinball machines and classic arcade games that took me back to my childhood. It added a fun and nostalgic vibe to the whole place. Oh, and I have to mention the art on the walls – it really added to the ambiance and made the place even more inviting.
All in all, I absolutely loved this place. The food was on point, the beer selection was impressive, and the atmosphere was a perfect blend of comfort and entertainment. It's definitely a spot I'd recommend to anyone looking for a great time with delicious food and...
Read moreFirst time trying Pizza J's in Providence on a rainy saturday afternoon. Our server Liz suggested a Snappy for a beverage. Super smooth and great with a lime. For food, we Started with the garlic parmesean wings. Thought they were cooked well. Definitely had a smokey flavor. The garlic aoli sauce it comes with was excelent. For the pizza we went with the Alphabet pizza, which is basically a meat lovers. Good amount of toppings, cooked well. Very good overall tasting. A little grease, but not bad. Sauce was good. Crust had a decent crunch along the edges and flavorful. Could actually hear the crunch from my sidekick. Despite the crunch, the Pizza had a lot of flop. Good undercarriage. Good cheese pull and great overall tasting cheese. Added some parmesean and red flakes to kick it up a notch. Very enjoyable pizza. Pin ball machines are cool, bring a dollar and get some tokens. Some in the front and the back. Service from Liz was great. Pizza gets a Google 4,...
Read moreAnother jewel on the West side of Providence. This a cool, funky kind of place that was filled with people of all ages. There are several pin ball machines at the front door and down the corridor are old school arcade games. We had passed it several times and always said we should try it, we finally did and what a treat! This is a sister restaurant to Julian's. They have a huge kitchen and make all the breads and pizza doughs here as well as doing the catering and food trucks here. We had the standing which were terrific with an absolutely delicious sauce which complemented them perfectly. We then had the short rib pizza and it was absolutely delicious! The crust was thin and a little crispy, just the way we like it. We finished it all with an ice cream sandwich made with homemade ice cream. DELICIOUS!! The bar is (wo)manned by Sam and she not only made us some terrific drinks, she was a cool person to talk to. I can't recommend Pizza...
