El Ranchito Taqueria — Restaurant in Proviso Township

Food was alright, service wasn’t the greatest had to ask for the bill and wasn’t even given an itemized receipt. When told just a total it seem high for what we ate so asked for an actual itemized receipt and noticed that we were charged for an extra soda when soda was included in the meal and then we were charged a tip when it was only 3 of us. I told my boyfriend remove the tip he was leaving which was more than what they added for tip for themselves so definitely lost if they were trying to be sneaky with the tip. Man this food is Terrible, with a 💪 capital T! The steak tacos tastes as if it were broiled in a pot and might I add I also taste a hint of them being just a few days past it's expiration date. See, I went there by accident. I actually thought I was calling the carnita taco joint on 25th and Lake 🤦🏾‍♀️..that's what I get for rushing and not paying attention. I came at 1:30am on a Wednesday a couple of weeks ago in November, 2019. I missed taco Tuesday with $1 tacos. I paid the regular price of $1.85 a taco. I got 2 chicharron and 1 steak tacos. The chicharron tacos were amazing. The steak taco was out of this world. It's the most amazing steak taco anywhere in Chicago. They seasoned it like no other place.
