Food - It's McDonald's, they all taste the same Decor - fine, don't really eat there so don't really care Service - POOR - this used to be my favorite McDonald's to stop at for my morning coffee and oatmeal or breakfast sandwich. In the past few months, however, service, especially in the mornings, just before the 8:00 hour, the service has steadily declined. I believe there has been a change in management and it was not for the better! The drive up (double lane) is always so backed up that it blocks the side entrance and parking lot. The other day I decided it was not worth the hassle to go through the drive up, so I managed to get around to a parking spot and figured it would be faster to get my food at the counter. WRONG! That was backed up as well. There were three registers and only ONE PERSON WORKING the registers. There were about 10 people bumping into each other by the food and drive up windows. And they were almost completely out of prepared coffee. There were several empty pots sitting there and the others were about a quarter way full. Total chaos and disorganization. It took over ten minutes for me to get my my food - a large black coffee and oatmeal, two of the quickest things on the menu.
Add insult to injury, I stopped there again today on my way to work. The drive up was not as backed up, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered my usual: Large black coffee and oatmeal. I had the exact amount ($3.27) ready to pay so I can have a quick transaction. When I got to the pick up window, I get handed a small coffee (I had ordered a LARGE), and NO BAG - and the guy looked at me like there was something wrong with me. I said, "I ordered a LARGE black coffee and an oatmeal". He looked all disgusted as if I had somehow changed my order, and left the window. A few moments later he handed me my bag (oatmeal) and a large hot beverage that I ASSUMED was my black coffee. Semi satisfied, I drove off because now I was late for work. I took a sip of my coffee and SPAT IT OUT -- there is SUGAR in the coffee!! I specifically - TWICE now - stated LARGE, BLACK COFFEE. I never asked for sugar or anything. It tastes disgusting! You are lucky I am not a diabetic!! How hard is it to get a simple order of BLACK COFFEE correct? So I called your location in Broadview off of 17th Ave in Broadview Village Square and guess what - I got an answering machine stating "We cannot take your call right now, please leave a message" -- SERIOUSLY??? WTF??! Where are the people who used to work the morning shifts? There are many new faces there and not a brain between them. I don't know if I'll ever go back to...

Was eating and I was still waiting, so I asked the cashier she called some and she said " oh I will be out in a minute " so I waited 10 more minutes, I finally had enough and asked for my money back. And I told her I see that you are busy but over 30 min waiting for my order is not acceptable sge did not even acknowledge the issue or apologize or nothing she did not said a darn n thing. She just proceeded the return give the receipt to the cashier and told her that one of the copies was mine and walked away. Read moreI drive all over for my job and have experienced different service at different McDonalds. This one in Broadview Square is closer to my house and I always try to avoid it. I read some of these “positive” reviews about fast drive thru lines and I say BS in capital letters. The lines are ALWAYS backed up regardless of time. They tend to leave something out of your order even after you verbally confirm if it’s on the bag. They always say yes and you get even more frustrated when you look and see it’s not. I’d say most of the workers are friendly but there are some that don’t know how to behave in work environments. People have told me “what can you expect from McDonalds employees” but I’ve been to many even if just for coffee and have seen some impressive/friendly service. It boils down to the management and this location is lacking leadership. Management needs to lay down the law and follow certain procedures where other locations excel at.
