A few days ago I was turned away from this place with another friend that shares a similar disability because of some things that had transpired maybe a week prior or just a few days before. Neither my friend nor I knew what they were talking about. We were going to go in play some pool maybe have a drink and then go out to dinner. But we couldn't get in I've never been able to get into that front door because of the extreme angle fact that there's no way to push any kind of handicap button to give him or have somebody on call to open said door. And then right after that I have barely enough room to drive down in between the stools the bar and the wall which is also where the bathrooms are located and there's no physical possible way to get into can I unding The Voice you when you can't use the restroom now can you find out that it's too small to even be much less than your basically out in front of everybody but enough with the problems in front once inside they almost have to move everything around and stuff just to make it possible to even get to the table the places in no way set up throughout people with handicaps especially in chairs to enjoy themselves and not fill out of place. Do not support this far as they are on accommodating and extremely rude even though I've never had a negative tab more in my left without tipping at above average rate. I tell you this the people who are associated with this establishment are very superficial and don't care about the customer! But they are very concerned about the size of...
Read moreWalked here to give to my city. Looked this up online before I arrived. I knew the menu had to be old because the prices were pre-panemic. So, I walk there and am greeted by a beautiful goth-like lady. Gorgeous and perfect makeup. Greeted me right away and welcomed me. Did the legal stuff of checking/scanning the ID. When the business was over, I looked to see what they had on tap and spotted Blue Moon. She served it with an orange wedge. Prime! I asked for the bar menu and saw the garlic burger. Ordered, paid, moved to my comfort zone. That ended up being a seat near the cutest, tiny stage. A baseball game was on. Dodger vs. Detroit? I'm not a sports person. Another person brought out my cute double garlic burger. It's a double burger with two slices of Swiss and all the fixings. Loaded with garlic, tomato, lettuce and onions--it was very filling. The bun was--pert?! Very bouncy! I ate. I drank a brew. I had a good time. Crowd was mixed. Gen X and Millenials everywhere and whatever they call the new college kid generation. Maybe even a few Boomers. All and all, I had a really good time. Twas chill. The online menu prices are off by about $3 and it ain't in our favor. That's okay because it was good bar food. Go...
Read moreI normally don't write reviews unless I've had a negative experience. So keep that in mind as you read this review. I come to this bar to shoot billiards when friends come to visit from out of town. The competition is always pleasant. I've noticed that regulars get preferential treatment. They will normally get served first even if you've been waiting longer. This night was no different. It was a Saturday night and we had to pay a cover charge of 7$ to listen to a musical group that screamed and growled at the mic for 2 hrs. I'm all for supporting local artists but this was over the top terrible. Luckily I had my earplugs in my car. On my way home, 3 miles down the road, I get pulled over by a highway patrolman; I was close to the Movies 8. After being harassed for 15 min, it becomes apparent I had not had anything to drink that night, he lets me go with a warning. "Failure to yield". I clearly remember stopping at the light he mentioned. It was a pathetic attempt to target someone leaving a bar. So beware, cops are watching this bar and will pull you over for no reason and harass you. This was my experience, the plain truth. Don't...
