The only Thai food I tried in the past was Thai pizza so I didn't know much about the Thai food. I wasn't expecting whole lot and my friend and I ordered fried rice, tom kah, and mango curry (they also had lychee, peach curry). I really loved all three dishes! The fried rice isn't oily like the ones they sell at Panda Express - it tastes like a good fried rice that's cooked and seasoned well. Tom kah has sort of a sour and yogurt taste and a hint of vinegar..? but it tastes yummy. It's sweet too - something that I never tasted before, but it was good. My favorite was the mango curry. They actually put the real mango inside the curry with bell peppers and some mushrooms, and it's the best curry I've ever had. The curry is sweet and it comes with a lot of rice. The portions of food is big for fried rice and curry. I will definitely come back and try other curries! Even if you have never had Thai food, this place will not disappoint you. I used to think that restaurants with many different dishes are not competitive with the taste, but I was wrong. If you are in a hurry, avoid peak times because there is almost no empty seat. We were seated fast and despite how busy it was, the food was served pretty quick. The servers were nice. I think I'm going to love Thai food...

We have decided to check out as many of the highly reviewed Thai food places as we can over the next few months. This one was our second after Thai Drift in Orem.

The food was quite tasty and I really enjoyed the variety of vegetables in the very flavorful red curry. The fresh spring rolls were very good, although I would not have minded a little bit of cilantro in them. We also enjoyed the drunken noodles with tofu because the tofu was tasty, and the noodles were very well seasoned.

I asked for spice level 3 out of 5 for my curry, and at least it had a little heat, but I thought it would have a little more kick at that level.

Last food note: I don't know when Thai restaurants agreed that they would stop serving jasmine rice, but I wish this were not the case. Unfortunately, this is one of the restaurants that does not serve jasmine rice.

The service was excellent, the food came out in a timely manner, and we had a good...

Our server left the restaurant after taking our order. He wasn't fired or anything, i think that good shift was just over. I guess that it did order got out into the kitchen because we eventually did get our food. But I'm pretty sure that it was just the owners, the guy and his wife running the whole thing.

We were there for lunch hour and my buddy had to take off to get to a meeting, before everyone had gotten their food. The whole thing was too fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants for me. We never did get our drinks, however, on the bright side, they didn't try to charge us for them either.

Don't go expecting a quick meal. Go of you have quite a bit of time and someone interesting to talk to.

Three good was pretty good. I liked my drunken noodles.

Good luck. You might really enjoy...

I wish I could give a better review because everyone was working so hard. We went on a busy Friday night and everything in the restaurant was a hectic. There was a long line of people waiting for a table and there was some confusion on who was first in line and how long table time would take. After about 20 minutes we were seated but after ordering we were asked to move tables. Later we were brought the wrong dishes and we never did know who our server was. The phone was ringing off the hook during most of our stay and everyone was rushing around. Despite this chaotic atmosphere the food did come out decently fast. We enjoyed the green curry but the Silver Dish noodles were a bit bland. I hope we were just there on an off night because it had potential.

With only one photo to capture a memorable meal out of six, Silver Dish Thai Cuisine continues to impress. The tofu pad Thai struck the right balance—neither too soft nor too firm, a tricky feat well-executed. Flavorful and enjoyable. Equally delightful was the spicy basil shrimp fried rice, both showcasing a perfect protein-to-meal ratio. Seated a group of 6 without a hitch, even though plans originally aimed for 10. The waitress was friendly, contributing to the positive experience. The restaurant maintained a clean and welcoming atmosphere, making it a go-to spot over the past few years. Consistency, great flavors, and a welcoming ambiance keep me coming back to Silver Dish Thai Cuisine.
