Gandolfo's New York Deli — Restaurant in Provo

Usually we have a better experience than we did tonight. Pulled up to the drive through, get the standard greeting, and we order 2 of the same sandwich. We sat there for a few minutes, wondering if she'd heard us. She finally confirms our order and we pull forward. We waited 6-7 minutes behind the car in front of us (who ultimately left without their food), finally got to the window, waited another 5 minutes for someone to come talk to us, finally talk to someone, and they forgot our order. So we tell them again, and we wait for another few minutes. She comes back and tells us the price, which was for two halfs instead of two whole sandwiches. So we double check that we're getting the two whole sandwiches (which we were happy to pay for) She tells us she'll just charge us for the halfs and give us the wholes instead. We pay and wait another 5 minutes for the food. Get home with our two whole sandwiches, and the bread is absolutely soaked with what seems to be vinegar and the cheese isn't melted. I made an order for my company for breakfast and told the lady on the phone that I needed to know how much a 10% tip was And she charged my bosses card for a 15% tip I told her that's almost $50 tip I asked to speak to her manager she won't let me. I picked up the order the next day kid was super nice I asked to speak to someone else besides her and she knew my cell phone number from the receipt i told her that If she doesn't want to give me her supervisors name and number that's fine but she over charged for a tip. I asked her repeatedly to stop texting my cell phone to have a great day and she continued and called and texted and said the phone had a bad connection then proceeded to yell at me and I told her she's harassing me. I’ve come here twice with my wife. Both times the food took a long time (about 25 minutes) to get to us. My sandwich was fine both times, but my wife’s sandwiches have been not fine. The first time we came here she ordered the “Red vs Blue” and they gave it to us without any pastrami. They were willing to give us a new sandwich with the pastrami the first one should have had but it was still frustrating. The second time she ordered the “piano man” and it came without avocado and without any sauce. I understand that mistakes happen but we didn’t order something crazy with weird modifications. Just sandwiches from their menu.

The only reason this place gets 2 stars instead of 1 is because my sandwiches were tasty when they finally got to me, but I would not recommend anyone come here. For about the same price and much higher quality you can take yourself down the street to...
