LOVE this spot. If I have only one complaint the parking is a little bit chaotic- and turning left into it is not very fun but, it’s doable. Always remind the people up front about the special you’re ordering that day and they’re happy to ring up the discount for you. We got the Bandy and the Band manager with curry Gyoza and it was AMAZING The quality of ingredients is great and so so filling. We were in and out of there 30 minutes flat the service is so fast and they’re really nice. There’s super smash bros to play while passing the time. The inside is small but comfortable. We took the bar end near the window. There is a bathroom inside too. Wheelchair accessibility is limited due to how close the space is but if you’re brave or in a compact you could maneuver about. The menu is nice to read too, the fonts aren’t crazy. The oyster sauce is SO good here. They are also really clear about their vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. They are listed on menu and they have a list in the counter for whatever dietary resistance you may have. They take tap to pay as well. The inside is very clean and they have a station to bus your own tables. They offer water on a large shelf for self service. There is an outdoor space to eat right in front of the restaurant with sun cover and plastic sheets for keeping the elements at bay. Waiting in line usually goes out the door but the space can only hold four people inside and the line moves really fast so it’s no issue.

I wanted to give this place a try as it seemed to have good reviews. I arrived a few minutes after it opened and there were absolutely no customers besides us, so I expected that I would get my order soon after. We ordered 4 rolls. There was a sign on the front desk saying that orders would be ready in 15-20 min. That sounded normal and I just kind of wandered around the empty restaurant. Next thing you know, the sign on the desk now says that orders would be ready in 25-30 min. I figured that this must be for the next customers who would come in. Long story short, we didn’t get our order for 40 minutes. There appeared to be at least 3 guys (maybe teenagers) that were working and chatting behind the curtain. I get that they’re probably young and maybe not as experienced, but waiting 40 minutes for your food when there is no one else there seems a little bit ridiculous and unacceptable. Shouldn’t workers be there earlier than the time of opening to prep ingredients and such? Then there was the food. It was mediocre and bland. The Lil Sis roll was the smallest roll I have ever seen and ordered in my life. (The pic I added was zoomed in but it really was tiny.) Oh and not to mention that so many of their rolls were “sold out”. I hate posting negative reviews, but I think this place really needs some improvement.

So I was really kind of torn how to rate our visit today. I want to always be fair with my review and I rarely give a negative review so I hope that this instead is an informational review and a suggestion to the owners to step up their game.

1st the food was good, I would put the Sushi on par with some of the nicer Sushi places my Wife and I have eaten at. I would like the fish portions to be larger but the taste was fresh and good.

2nd I did not like that you had to order your food before you sat down and we really felt like we had to rush and pick the choices because of others behind us. I also did not like the only option to give a tip was when you ordered your food and you will see why in the 3rd comment.

3rd I found it very weird that after 1:00pm you got your Sushi brought out to you in a cardboard box, not a plate but a box. I asked if they were going to bring us water and he said.... it is up there pointing to the corner of the room. I asked about the wasabi and the soy sauce and he said you can go get some over there also. So I tipped because I felt like it was going to be served like the photos and they would serve your food and water etc... No....you have to do that yourself which was quite strange given that I paid what I paid in other restaurants that filled my water and plated the Sushi well. Sushi does not belong in a box at a good Sushi restaurant, but plated well. If I wanted the McDonalds of Sushi I could have expected what I got but to tip someone to hand you a paper box with the Sushi plopped in it was not what I felt we paid for.

Will I go back? Probably not because of the service. Was the food good, yes it was but the presentation just overpowered the experience, it is like ordering a nice steak that was plopped in a sack for you to eat and you had to go find the steak sauce. If you want good McDonalds Sushi with no service, this will please you. They cater to...

When it comes to food, people in provo never cease to amaze. I went with very low expectations and I was still disappointed. To me it only deserves 2 stars because they are open "late" and they deliver; the rolls don't taste bad and it would be fine if they were actually cheap but they are not. They seem to focus on takeout and delivery because eating there is horrible; the menu is very limited, we were the only people there when we ordered and it still took 30 min to get 4 rolls and drinks which were brought to us in takeout boxes, there is nothing in the tables (a couple), no plates, soy sauce etc and you pay first so I left them over 18% in tip for that kind of service. They have the ugliest and most uncomfortable chairs you can imagine, a bench and other stuff, the place is small and there is no space because of the way it's arranged, if all the available seats are taken there is no space to walk from one place to another and very very badly decorated unless it was the idea: modern facade, dark with neon bright colors entrance, simple rustic furniture, french style golden ceiling. If it's after 9 and you want delivery this is your place, but it's is not great and it certainly is not amazing. The menu needs some work and way better sushi skills, hope they improve in the near future but then again they probably won't, college kids think it's the best...
