WELCOME to the best dawgs in Utah, and one of the best places to chow down. Just like the Yankee Stadium drinks and hot dogs during a summer game, these dawgs are to savor while watching a good game.
This is the place to sit and relax and have a chat.
They have a choice beetween two types of dawgs that are available, chips, fries, and a drink, etc.
The cost is very reasonable and very filling. I usually get two dawgs at a time. I like mine with with the special sauce, onions, the famously awesome pickle, and extra sour krout. It depend on my mood if I get the Jalapenos etc.
Located south of BYU Campus and starring an indoor and outdoor eating spot. The place has had some upgrades. It has three open rooms and tables enough to seat a large family. It does have designated parking on the side and front. It does have limited parking. Most people order their Dawgs and sit down or leave elsewhere.
It is good short walking distance all around for students and those wanting a quick bite.
They have a large screen T.V. and is very hopping and social atmosphere. Lining the walls are sports memorabilia and signatures from famous patrons of BYU Sports Etc.
This place is good for the fun and playful, group dates and single dates or just yourself.
If you come it has accommodations for wheelchair accessible areas and dining.
J DAWGS has other locations throughout Utah.
The staff is fast, friendly, and clean. The service is awesome. Music and smiling atmosphere is to make you feel one of the group.
You can dine in, take out, or go for delivery.
The location is clean and come prepared with a mask if you need. They make sure your safe.
Make sure to say hi and thank you to those that serve you. They go the extra...
Read moreThe fact that this restaurant exists and is popular tells me we are near the end of times; we've gone too far astray. Like I understand eating out at a steakhouse or Mexican restaurant; not everyone knows how to cook a good steak at home or make authentic Mexican food but a restaurant that just sells hot dogs? Dude, you can literally buy a whole pack of hotdogs with all the condiments your heart desires from Walmart and make them at home and it is still cheaper than J. Dawgs. And speaking of hearts, do you see anyone over age 50 eating at this restaurant? No you don't because cardiac arrest already took them out after all the grease from J. Dawgs. That's right, with every bite you take you dance with heart disease, until one day heart disease comes and stabs you in the back with a greasy hot dog covered in signature sauce and laughs at you as you lie in agony realizing the error of your foolish ways. And that's not all; J. Dawgs will destroy your bowels as well; you'll wake up in the wee hours of the night as the orcs beat down the door to Helm's Deep with signature sauce and wish you had repented of your sins before being sent to meet your Maker. Many an unsuspecting college student walks into J. Dawgs and consumes the hot dog-shaped venom, only to realize later that not even Taco Bell inflicts this kind of pain on their victims, but do they stay away? No, they continue to uphold the beast because once you stay at the Hotel California you can never leave, and so year after year J. Dawgs continues to feed on all the twenty-year-olds who can't cook a hot dog for themselves.

Read moreI really haven’t been to many hot dog only restaurants but I’ve tasted tons of different hot dogs and I know a good dawg when I taste one.
When you walk in it seems really small. The entrance/counter area can get kind of tight but once you walk further in you’ll see more tables and space.
To give you an idea of how the place works, you walk in and the counter will be right in front of you. Tell the person at the counter what you want. Then don’t just walk away to fill your drink or sit, stay in line and just move further down the counter. There they’ll pull your dog off the grill. Then tell them what you want on the dawg. The tried both the beef and polish dawgs. Both were really good but I’ll give you my feedback on the beef dawg because I’m not a big polish guy. I’ll just say the polish dawg did taste good.
You should definitely try the SAUERKRAUT and their special sauce. The sauce is sweet just in case your wondering what it’s like. I enjoyed my hot dog. If you’re around you should try a dawg with their special sauce which is the whole point of coming.
