Kiwanis Park — Attraction in Provo

This park provides many reservable pavilions that have nearby water spigots and fire pits. The park also has many wide grass fields which is perfect for all outside activities. In fact, there are so many open grass fields that multiple full scale games of soccer, frisbee, spikeball, and football can be going on at the same time. But while the grass expands quite a ways, it's still not a good idea to bring an Aerobie frisbee because of the trees.

Towards the elementary school there are 3 tennis courts with equipped flood lights for night games. The school offers 10+ basketball hoops, a kick ball court on the black top, many diverse playgrounds, and much more. School grounds are closed to elementary schoolers during school hours but afterwards they are open to the public. Besides the school's various playgrounds, the park also has a recently built public playground next to the biggest pavilion.

This park also has a public bathroom next to the center parking lot which is frequently maintained.

Overall this park is phenomenal for large groups and outside activities, I 100 percent recommend that you try...

Normally, I'd rate Kiwanis Park higher. Kiwanis is the closest city park to my home, and it's convenient to have such a large open space near me. Right now, however (summer 2017), l can't recommend a visit. They are "building" a water catchment basin for runoff, and it's dry and dusty. They've also cut down quite a few of the big old shade trees that gave the park some of its charm. It's going to be years before it gets shady again 😟 They did put in a new play area / structure for young children. There are also tennis courts and picnic pavilions. The kids loved it! has ample space and various activities that can be done. the park is very large and can be done several activities at the same time. and next to yma school and that has basketball courts and tennis courts. also has toys for younger children. closed balances for small children. perfect to take the family in an activity without leaving anyone behind.
