I visited Riverside Country Club in Provo last August, and unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected. While the location itself is beautiful and my husband and sons enjoyed the gold course, the service, particularly at the pool, was a major letdown.
First and foremost, the swimming pool manager, Christine, was exceptionally unprofessional. From the moment I approached the pool area, her dismissive attitude was evident. Rather than providing helpful information about the poolâs rules or even offering a warm greeting, she was condescending and rude. I even overheard her belittling a staff member in front of guests, which made the entire atmosphere uncomfortable. Her behavior was not just unprofessionalâit was outright degrading, making it difficult to enjoy the facilities.
While the pool itself was ok (needs a remodel), the unpleasantness from the staff member overshadowed the visit. For a club that prides itself on its reputation, itâs disheartening to encounter such poor customer service. Unfortunately, this experience has left me hesitant to return...
Read moreMy review today is not about the golf course but instead the club house and specifically the restaurants. I decided to check out the clubhouse a few months ago to see what it has to offer. Nice looking place! I was given a menu to review at the two different restaurants by a nice receptionist. Prices seemed reasonable. So I decided then that I would bring my wife back sometime in the future for an evening meal. Last week we walked in ready to enjoy a meal together. We then approached the receptionist to be seated. She then asked for a membership number and then told us that we couldnât eat there since this is a private country club! No where is there âmembers onlyâ signage posted. Embarrassing for all involved and a waste of time (on two occasions). Common sense would allow the public to enjoy the restaurants at least. Please post something somewhere to let people know that NO ONE IS WELCOME...
Read moreI had the most intense golfing session of my life here. Hole in one or hole in none, I had a blast and i really think anyone who wants to not just play golf but feel the philosophy of the course should come here. Honestly I sweat a lot because I wore pants instead of shorts but the golf carts saved me so much energy i still had time to pump some iron when i left the golf course. I did get yelled at for running over someones golf ball ( i didnt know they were still playing they were on their phone) but the management was really cool about it and all understanding that its hard not to drive fast in those golf carts. I was really excited because i got a hole in one and was throwing it in my coworkers faces.. hahahaha idiots!!! thanks for the good times riverside country club. and i recommend anyone to try it out, seasoned golfer or 100%...
