I've been a regular for over a decade and two years ago I was very upset about the service I received, but things have obviously changed idk if it's management that's changed or if it was just the time of day I was going in. Now, I get my breakfast in drive thru almost everyday. The girl that works drive thru, Jaylynn (sorry if I misspelled that babes) knows my car, knows my order, and if she's not getting her butt kicked always shares a joke, a laugh, and a smile. If I'm paying in cash I'll always try to give her a little extra $ as a tip (y'all should add a space on card receipts so I can leave a tip more often). She can't work 7 days a week tho and I'm always disappointed when she's not there (the other gals that work drive thru when she's not there just seem cold and annoyed at you for daring to bother them). This location is actually outside of my neighborhood, hwy 50 is actually closer but the environment at hwy 50 is just not as good as the Santa Fe store (not to mention hwy 50 charbroiler seems to always burn the outer edges of your burger, the Santa Fe store doesn't have that issue) so I'll always go out of my way to hit Santa Fe. Idk what Jaylynn's wage is but that girl definitely deserves a raise especially since it seems that she typically runs the mornings (just her and her cook, which kudos to that guy too, my breakfast is always awesome I just never see the guy) I know the manager is there but every time I pull up he's generally outside smoking, I have seen him a few times inside but not very often... I say "Ill take a Super Star meal with no pickles no onion", she says "so you just want cheese, lettuce and tomato with mayo?" I said "yes", she says "what size?" I say "small" she says "what drink", I say "diet Dr pepper" she says "sorry what size was that? and what was the drink again," I said "small and diet Dr pepper". So I pull forward.
She serves me a small root beer. I ask her to "try again this is root beer." She says "I know it's diet Dr pepper but I'll give you another". So she gives me another root beer, I say it's the same root beer and she gives me my food and says have a nice day, like my drink wasn't wrong.
So I went next door to the loaf n jug and got a diet dr pepper fountain drink and brought it to the Carl's Jr inside register and tell them that "there is a distinct difference between these two drinks." These 2 young girls tell me "we gave you a diet dr pepper and they checked the back and I'm wrong." All the while NEVER TASTING THE SODA!!
I left disgusted at the new generation. They served me incorrectly and for some reason I was in the wrong. Oh remember my burger the super star? She charged me extra for lettuce and tomatoes eventhough the burger has it on it stock. So I was overcharged $.60 too.

Normal menu combo no one else in drive through and for some reason I still need to wait 10 minutes after I order for my food. “Pull up to the door please” I do just that and then I wait. It’s not a huge deal, I have the day off and no where I need to be but it gets to me when there is no other people around. They then gave me the wrong order and at first I was just going to let it slide but the burger they gave me was smashed flat with bread as hard as a brick and one small bit of lettuce that was so wilted it couldn’t have been suitable for human consumption. I call them up to say something about the poor service I received and While explaining my situation Diandra (not sure how to spell it hope that’s right) starts saying things that don’t make sense about the topic at hand. To my dismay she is talking with other customers while I am explaining my issues. Then when I confront her about it and ask who is in charge she says she is. I never leave negative reviews but usually there is some degree of customer service. If it’s not fast fine! If it’s not what I ordered I’ll try something new.
