My kids and I went to Fazolis last Saturday for dinner. Up until then, it had probably been at least 5 years since I ate there. I got the chicken fettuccine Alfredo, as did my younger son. My older son got pizza. I thought the chicken had good flavor, but the fettuccine wasn't my favorite dish. Oddly enough, my son really liked it, and said it tasted better than Olive Garden (not even close, imo).
One area I did think was better than OG, though, was the bread sticks. The ones at Fazolis just taste softer, with more butter. OG, from what I remember, was good, but still firmly 2nd.
The guy that helped us that night, though, gave one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. He was patient, giving us time to look over the menu without feeling rushed, and when we had questions, was quick to answer them. His entire demeanor was friendly, laid back, and approachable.
Perhaps the most important trait, however, was that he didn't make us feel like we were "putting them out", when my son wanted to order something close to the closing time. Since, COVID, a lot of businesses start shutting everything down way earlier than their stated closing time, which I find ridiculous. Even though they were starting to shut stuff down as we walked up, when we asked if they could still make the item my son was wanting, he, without hesitation, said, "of course." That's what real customer service looks like, and this guy knocked it out of the park, so much so, that my 12 year old son commented on it. If he wasn't a Manager, he definitely has what it takes to be one, and wouldn't doubt that he would be at some point, there or...
Read moreI normally do not write reviews but I have been coming to this location for a while now and with each visit this place has gotten worse and worse. I came here yesterday for my normal meal, and I couldn't believe my eyes. I mean it was empty and the service still sucked. They have like young kids running this place. The garage cans outside are always over flowing with trash and cups all over the floor. And they constantly burn the food which was my issue yesterday. There was this sloppy young guy with the most wrinkled shirt I've ever seen, no name tag, just sloppy and dirty looking (made me not wanna eat). Very unfriendly. He looked like he came from the back with some girl with Billie Elish colored hair and she was also unfriendly. They're always under staffed. I saw they got a new lady with reddish glasses who looked like she was drowning in work due to the slackers. The wrinkly shirt guy was just standing around and talking, not cleaning or anyting. It's so bad. There's no way anyone cares about this company. I can't believe how burnt my food was. I gave this place so many chances but this was it, I just came off a 12 hour shift and couldn't eat. Fazoli's is now a literal joke. I'll just spend my money at Chick Fil A. This place could really benefit from taking customer services lessons from their own competition. Shame on whoever is in charge of staff...
Read moreI ordered a chicken carbonara extra broccoli. I got my order it had the regular amount of broccoli so i went inside and asked for my extra I paid for. They gave me a small soufflé cup with barely any broccoli so I again asked her if that was right because it didn’t look right. She said yes it was and I let her know I just felt like it wasn’t worth my extra money I paid if I could just get a refund. Mind you I worked for Fazoli’s before as an agm and I don’t think they changed their side from 3 yellow scoops to only one. She told me she didn’t have to give me a refund I can request it in the app and I let her know it wasn’t good enough I wanted my money back I was completely dissatisfied with what she was trying to give me. I was grabbing the food to put it back in the bag and she snatched it out of my hands and said nope I’m keeping this which is beyond me as to why she would even jump on me like that she contiously rolled her eyes and tried to argue her point and I let her know I didn’t appreciate her attitude towards me I definitely wasn’t even trying to be rude but I also wasn’t going to pay for something I didn’t think was worth the money I was paying. I paid $18 for food I didn’t even get. I love Fazoli’s and haven’t been there in a while and definitely will not be going back after the way I was treated today by their...
