Smitty's Greenlight Tavern — Restaurant in Pueblo

I revisited Smitty's Green Light Tavern after about a 7 or 8 year hiatus and the majority of the things I like best about it are still there to enjoy! Most things... Theres the vintage, black and white photos of iconic figures; the abstract and random art coupled with that Neon art deco "Open" sign. The old historic glass double doors that lead the way to what has to be THE best bar and stool combo not only in Downtown Pueblo but in the whole town and PW. If not the best it is for sure a contender. Massive, old, historic and sturdy. Lots of live music, outside drinking area, multiple little hangout areas for you and your pals. Upstairs pool table, (it has definitely seen some things). Unique and interesting crowd/regulars. Live reggae shows. The only thing that seems to have changed at all is the bittersweet death of Panic Hour. Crazy drink specials like nowhere else in town and swarms of elbow to elbow thirst quenchers gone along with it. Probably for the better. My sister, her husband, and I were looking for a bar to get food and drinks at. We went to check out this bar. There were quite a few people who went in, but one of the staff members angerly came out and questioned us before entering the bar. My sister asked if they served food there and he responeded super rudely. My sister an I are identical twins but after he responded to my sisters question, he turned to me and yelled at me " If your under the age of 21 you have to be behind the line" !
