I revisited Smitty's Green Light Tavern after about a 7 or 8 year hiatus and the majority of the things I like best about it are still there to enjoy! Most things... Theres the vintage, black and white photos of iconic figures; the abstract and random art coupled with that Neon art deco "Open" sign. The old historic glass double doors that lead the way to what has to be THE best bar and stool combo not only in Downtown Pueblo but in the whole town and PW. If not the best it is for sure a contender. Massive, old, historic and sturdy. Lots of live music, outside drinking area, multiple little hangout areas for you and your pals. Upstairs pool table, (it has definitely seen some things). Unique and interesting crowd/regulars. Live reggae shows. The only thing that seems to have changed at all is the bittersweet death of Panic Hour. Crazy drink specials like nowhere else in town and swarms of elbow to elbow thirst quenchers gone along with it. Probably for the better.
