I VERY rarely post reviews, but this restaurant is beyond deserving. The restaurant itself is open air with nice lighting, relaxing music and cute tables. The service was wonderful - our server was the chef’s son and he was very personable. The chef clearly has a passion for what he does, and everyone’s smiles were contagious. We were served 4 different small plates (which we didn’t order or pay for) while waiting for our entrees, and they were all delicious. I had the house white wine which was crisp, cold and refreshing. My partner got the special of the day (bonita tuna) with the side salad. The piece of fish was huge, and had a delicious sauce with it. The salad was colorful and full of complementary flavors including passionfruit vinaigrette, feta cheese, and seaweed. I ordered the corvina with pesto pasta and omg!! Again, the portion was extremely generous and the flavors were wonderful. The fish was light, flaky and perfectly seasoned and the pesto had a wonderful depth of flavor. We ended up taking more than half of our entrees home due to the portion sizes and complimentary appetizers. As we got up from our table, we were thanked by the server, bartender and chef for our patronage. It is very rare to see people who so clearly love what they do, and who pour their heart into every plate served. This is well worth your time to visit, and we will absolutely be back. Thank you for a...

Pasta y Pueblo is an absolute must-visit. This intimate, outdoor dining spot offers a perfect balance of casual atmosphere and fine dining quality.

We had the cast iron sea scallops with creamy pesto pasta, seared ahi tuna with sweet coconut rice, and the passion fruit flan for dessert. Every dish was nothing short of perfection. The tuna was seared perfectly, and the pesto pasta was the best I’ve ever had. The coconut rice was unbelievably good, and the passion fruit flan tasted incredibly fresh.

The service was impeccable. Be sure to make a reservation, as it fills up quickly! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, answering all our questions and providing fantastic recommendations. The chef personally checked in with each table and they provided two delicious complimentary appetizers when we arrived.

Whether you’re craving perfectly cooked seafood or simply a meal made with the finest ingredients, this place nails it. We wish we had found it earlier on our trip, and we’ll definitely be back....

If you are anywhere on the east side of the island, you absolutely need to eat here. My whole family deemed it one of the best meals of our lives! The atmosphere is beautiful and quaint. They even bring you out some appetizers on the house. The eggplant with red sauce appetizer was amazing. We were waited on by Rio, who is the son of Freddi the head chef and owner. Freddi comes out and makes the rounds to check on all of his customers and we enjoyed chatting with him. The scallops were incredible and so tender. My son enjoyed his mussels with capers and a white wine sauce over pasta. My other son had pasta with steak and he devoured it. My husband’s ahi tuna was perfectly seared. My corvina fish (which I had never even heard of) was melt in your mouth delicious. We also had to try the desserts, of course, and they did not disappoint. It’s unfortunate that we tried this place on our last night because we absolutely would have gone back. Show up early or call for reservations because it fills up fast. Do not...

If you are anywhere near Luquillo make this place a stop for food, and come hungry! Make sure you call ahead of time because there is limited seating, at least when we went. The food here is all locally sourced and made in house. We went during the first month of their “soft opening” and everything we had was to die for. We went towards the hours of closing and were treated with four complimentary starter samples that were all delicious. Lastly, the staff treats you like family and everyone who greeted us had a smile. It felt very personal the entire time, and the chef came before we were served to check if we had any allergies to the food, as well as after to make sure we were enjoying everything we had ordered. I highly recommend you check this place out if you get the chance, it’s well worth your time!

Pasta y Pueblo in Luquillo is a charming, home-based business that offers fresh, flavorful dishes perfect for vegetarians. Don’t let the humble outdoor ambiance fool you—this place delivers a five-star dining experience with exceptional hospitality. Gia, who speaks excellent English, was incredibly patient and ensured that all our allergies were carefully accommodated. The chef’s personal touch was evident when he surprised us with a unique antipasti made from eggplant—a preparation we’d never tried before and absolutely loved. We chose their pesto-based pasta, Alfredo and the vibrant, rich flavors still linger in our memory. Pasta y Pueblo’s dedication to personalized care and delicious food makes it a standout. We only wish they had more branches to enjoy their amazing dishes more often!
