Minh's Restaurant — Restaurant in Pullman

My family and I ordered take out from this location after we heard good reviews about this restaurant. It was a larger order with 7 main dinner entrees and we were quoted a 30 minute pick up time. We usually try and give extra time, especially during COVID-19 staffing shortages and arrived at about 40 minutes. Unfortunately the food was not ready and we had to wait another 30+ minutes for our food to be ready. We had to cancel getting our smoothies because they quoted another 15 minute extra wait. We assume that the food didn't started until we arrived as there was no one else picking up food before we arrived. I was pretty disappointed with the extra delays...

Food wise, it was ok. I really wanted to have some butter chicken as all the Indian restaurants in the area were closed. The chicken was breaded and was glazed with sauce. A bit different than the usual fare you get from now traditional Indian restaurants that have non breaded chicken simmering in sauce.

Overall a pretty disappointing experience. I'm sure this is mainly due to staffing as there seemed to be only one person cooking. But I'll probably go elsewhere unless I really need...

The food was ok. The service, subpar. The facilities, atrocious. Dining area is past the kitchen, which was an abysmal mess. The bathroom had mildew (and perhaps worse?!?) growing everywhere with a broken window also. The old man served the food one dish at a time... Again, the food was ok. Nothing I’m going to go back for. The pho was uninspired... doubt the broth is cooked overnight like it should be. The pad Thai was bland and boring. The udon beef was adequate. Doesn’t really matter since my wife thinks we are all going to be sick after seeing behind the curtain. There was a tray of broccoli on the floor! Dirty dishes falling out of the sink. Minh's has so much to offer. The food preparation was fresh, quick service and atmosphere wise we were the only ones seated since there was only half an hour left before it closed. We were welcomed by Marcus (sweet corgi) and the owners. Owing to the rain & windy weather we were starving and feasted on the chicken fried rice, Shrimp chowmein and Pork BBQ buns (had read about the buns in many reviews). I found the pork stuffing sweet, I was expecting a spicier version. But I guess that's how they are! Otherwise soft & super fluffy.
