Manhattan Pizza Purcellville — Restaurant in Purcellville

Put in an order for pickup. Pizza canzone and a cold sub for a 6pm pickup. Got there cold sub wasn't ready. 28 min later after waiting in the store my cold sub was ready. It was missing cheese. I was then charged 1.60 or whatever for cheese. I got home and the sub was missing the turkey.

The manager said they were backed up and understaffed. We'll thanks for the info but I paid for a service you did not provide. Had to put pizza and canzone in the warmer while i waited. How does a cold sub come out 28 min after the pickup for a hot pizza. Nice to see that despite your staffing issues and mistakes. (With my pizza and hot food in your warmer now mind you) I was important enough a customer to have a 3 minute sub expedited to take 28 min because you forgot to have it ready on time Im sorry but in what world do you not stop and make a late order with food that should not be in the warmer a priority?

28 minutes on a cold sub you folks forgot to add to the order that takes 3 min to make 28 min waiting to have it still wrong 28 min of you ignoring your mistakes and prioritizing others despite our order being sitting in your warmer. A cold sub takes how long to make no toasting?

Unacceptable performance apology and product. Got it wrong on every level. That's impressive in all the wrong ways. This is the 3rd time there were issues, be it lackluster partial cheese covering or less than hospitable service (rude) and added wait times that are just laughable. You showed me how important your customers are to you.

Like the Manhattan chain but this franchise needs some help. This is according to he establishments performance and the managers own admission "Backed up and short-staffed" get theese guys...

ABYSMAL service and worst management experience I’ve seen in our area.

We ordered a DoorDash delivery Brooklyn Bomber all meat pizza and then paid extra for veggies to be added. We received a NO meat pizza, at all, with a few veggies sprinkled on it, and we were charged the full price for an all meat plus the extra veggies. When I called to let the manager know, she told me she would make me a new pizza but we would have to drive the 40 minutes round trip to pick up the pizza because she wouldn’t cover the cost to pay one of her drivers to deliver the order her store messed up. She was snide and said she would refund us our money but we had to do that through DoorDash which meant we were still stuck paying the DoorDash charges, which she wouldn’t cover.

So, no pizza that we ordered (and the few veggies they threw in it were sad - wish I could post the picture of what we received). No full refund. Snide manager. She apologized that it was her store’s fault, but basically told me I was screwed and I had to resolve this situation myself.

Will never - ever - order from here again.

Genuinely surprised they are still...

The pizza was great for a franchise. Too bad about the timing of the opening, because the seating area and bar make the building seem way bigger on the inside and it might be a nice alternative to Main Street Wings or Coach's Corner on a busy or off night.

It's by no means the most affordable pizza in town, but once you've had whatever you ordered it feels a lot more fair. Only real gripe is how they seem to have suspended any kind of specials or coupons, at least when I ordered last weekend. Daddy J's and Mahjong's have reasons they can run what seem like big specials to push a ton of product for a few reasons, but it was still weird not even seeing the specials they used to offer on different days of the week on their site. Couldn't find any coupons offered elsewhere either, really hope that's not here to stay for long.

I still have another favorite local place in town that's priced almost the same, but if you actually like mozzarella then this place is a great option for pizza. Really hoping 2020 doesn't give this place a hard time, it's one of the nicer places that's opened in...
