My nearest location towards Graham and such a disappointment for incomplete take outs on 75% of our orders. The sad part is that I usually return to pick up my missing item because it's usually a side or kids item they forget to pack. Today once again it was my toddler's side of rice and beans missing, I am extremely upset because my drive is not up the street. My girlfriend called spoke to a cashier that gave her the option to drive back for pickup (gas at own expense for error) I explained that it is inconvenient for it to cost customer extra to pick up a item that should have been in the bag to begin with if she'd be doing her job right! I asked for a refund and in a uninterested tone said well you have to be here for that too.... At this point I asked to speak to their manager explaining at first the reason why I am frustrated, I begin by letting him know that this is not the first time and asking why should this become the customers issue as they are taking 0 ownership for how this is impacting their customers service and experience. He gave me no fix but coming in regardless and this shouldn't have to be this way. I will definitely no longer take a long drive to antojo... Taco Zone has never failed us that way and they are a small hole on the wall that makes your experience worth wild. Thank you antojo reps Manger Luis for wanting 0 to do with fixing your teams errors and thank you Isabel Barajas for helping walk out one more customer out the door by not ensuring your orders are complete! Total spent 65.23 and 4.99+tax lost on a side of rice and beans my toddler did not get. Try offering an door dash for your mistake for a change to deliver that is making up for your error for a change. We should not have to lose or eat cold food because your associates cannot get the job done right,...
Read moreReview update July 2024: This place usually has great deals and portion sizes but recently we ordered online and was disappointed with the lack of filling in the regular burritos. There was so much chicken and rice that could’ve fit in this large tortilla, but as a result, it was mostly flour tortilla inside the burrito. (See photos for reference.) This didn’t hit the spot this time, El Rinconsito. What happened?
2021 review: This place serves really good tacos for a good deal. They have a 4 Tacos Special that includes a bottled soda for $5.99 and the 4 tacos also comes with a roasted jalepeno and onion -- can't beat that price! I got half chicken and carnitas for the meat, but I should've just stuck with the carnitas because it was so good! The sauce on the chicken was a tad too spicy for me, but everything was served fresh and I liked the whole roasted onion they included on the side which I put in each of my tacos.
I also ordered a single mulitas which I never had before but now I'm a fan. The only downside was that there were no limes to go with our tacos and some utensils would've been nice too (we dined in). The service was good and the workers were friendly and acknowledged our exit by saying "thank you, have a nice day" behind the counter. Acknowledging customers upon their arrival/exit is good customer service as it makes the customer feel welcomed and appreciated for the visit. I will have to try their chicken plates and burritos next time!
I will also add that this place was...
Read moreFast and friendly service. The place stays busy very busy so be prepared but id like to say it’s worth it. Except for the spicy food when you don’t ask for it that’s the only thing I would change.
1st visit Asada tacos were delicious and meaty very filling. Asada torta was meaty and very tasty but spicy as hell. You have to pay extra for avacado and they didn’t put beans on it. I’m use to it being that way but hey new things and different ways! The kids tacos were so spicy and they couldn’t eat them. My wife gave up her chicken flautas for the kids to eat while we tried to bare thru the kids tacos and the asada torta. Rice and beans were good and very filling. Decided to give it another try and go back the next day to try it again but make sure to ask for our food to not be spicy.
2nd visit the very next day. Before ordering each item I asked if it was spicy or could be made not spicy. I was told it can be made not spicy. Great this is going to be easy!
Placed our order Kids meal chicken tacos 3 asada torta’s 2 steak ranchero’s
The only thing that was not spicy was the kids meal chicken tacos The torta’s were covered in jalapeño’s it was bad The steak ranchero’s were spicy but it was tolerable
I want to love this place so we are giving it a break for now but we are going to give it one more try later on down the road. I figure I’ve got a 50/50 chance we will either develop a tolerance for spicy foods or they will get our...
