I would have really enjoyed my shopping experience a lot more if there weren't screaming kids everywhere I turned. Hey I get it, I had young kids once too, but parents, if you've got screaming kids, be a little bit more respectable to the other shoppers, do something about it, give them something to play with, give them a snack or just plain take them home because the kids that were screaming while I was shopping today were obviously tired. I get it, you want to go shopping, but maybe find a sitter so that you can go shopping, because you actually ruin the experience for some of us, and you would probably enjoy it in the long run without them being there. I felt really bad for a couple of the kids, you could tell that they were really tired, there was a baby that was probably about a year old who was obviously so tired, but the mom just left him in the cart as she looked through the racks and racks of clothes just ignoring that poor little baby. I wanted to go over there and console him myself. I overheard other shoppers talking about her, and it wasn't so nice. Other than that, the young lady that helped me in the dressing room was very very nice, she made that experience extremely pleasant. And when it came time to check out, the young lady at the register was also very nice. The store was very clean and organized, the dressing rooms were nice and roomy which made it easy to try clothes on. I would recommend this store to anyone who's looking for deals on brand...
Read moreI am a frequent shopper at this location, never had a bad experience until today. I brought back a hair crimper because it burned me at the handle where it certainly should not be getting hot. The cashier was very friendly and said she had to ask the manager as it had been used which is understandable. However the manager was extremely rude and short with me. Said that the policy is they don’t take any beauty products back and I was unaware as it is not stated on the receipt anywhere. She rudely pointed to the return policy on the wall which I have never seen before (I don’t pay attention to signs with a bunch of verbiage behind a cashier) which she said states returns are subject to restrictions. The policy is understandable, she gave me store credit which I am thankful for but I cannot get over her rudeness. She literally look one look at me and rolled her eyes, again was very short with me and extremely rude. I will not come back to this location if this is the kind of customer service a manager in a retail...
Read moreI recently had a disappointing experience at TJ Maxx, and I feel compelled to share it.
After selecting an item that clearly should have been covered out of respect, we proceeded to checkout. Once the transaction was completed, the cashier did not even offer a bag—something that should be a basic courtesy. When we asked about a bag, we also requested extra covering for the item, as it was necessary. Instead of accommodating our request professionally, the cashier gave us an attitude, making us feel uncomfortable for even asking. It’s not about the 8 cents for a bag—it’s about the principle. The lack of respect in how this situation was handled was unacceptable, and honestly, it felt borderline racist.
This experience left a negative impression and made us feel unwelcome. TJ Maxx needs to do better with customer service and sensitivity training because no one should have to go through this type of treatment...
