I just wanted to say we have now chosen this place twice in the last month for our family night out. First and foremost I want to give a shout out to our server Sarah. We have been so lucky to sit in her section on both occasions and she has been the absolute best. She is so friendly, and will give you time to ask any questions. She's also readily available whenever anything comes up or if a drink refill is needed she is there before you even know your cup is empty. She has certainly earned our loyalty to this restaurant and we look forward to next time. Sarah goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and as if you are family. She is absolutely amazing with kids and takes the time to include our child who has special needs and never seems to be bothered or as if we are a burden.
The atmosphere in this location is so calm unlike others we have been to throughout the country. Although I feel as if the kitchen selection seems to be smaller than other locations it is still very on point and has the classics :). This place is an amazing choice with a family who always wants something different from each other and even offers selections that are great for kids and even picky eaters at that.
The salad bar is always fresh and offers the best produce I have seen around. The main course area is well stocked with hot food continuously. This visit we tried some of the steak and it was even up to what we had hoped. By the time we got to dessert we saw all the selections and were amazed at all that was offered.
Throughout the entire restaurant it's always so clean. The team was on it, from any drip of food that may have possibly slipped off when at the buffet, to an accidental spill. The tables were rapidly picked up and cleaned and the floors were never left with trash. Honestly both times we have been it was as if they were ready for a white glove inspection.
This location also receives stars for accessibility inside the restaurant. Both in general to access your table and the buffet but also when navigating throughout the restaurant overall. The layout is practical and truly makes navigating around a breeze for individuals with wheelchairs and walkers.
As this location is inside the mall it doesn't give that hurry up get in and get out vibe that most locations do. I am used to other locations where you feel pushed and rushed. This location offers a much more relaxed environment, and you can really enjoy your meal and time dining.
Overall, this place won us over on their great and friendly service, calming atmosphere, cleanliness and variety of...
Read moreWe were warmly greeted by Kaleyla, who welcomed us with a smile and was incredibly helpful in getting our group of 10 settled and comfortable. After we were shown to our table, Dylan immediately approached us to take our drink orders. He kindly informed us that our main server would be Susan, although she was currently on her break. We had come to celebrate my birthday and were visiting this location for the first time, having previously dined at the Marysville location. This time, we made the hour-long drive to Puyallup, and I must say that the staff we interacted with made us feel incredibly welcome, as if we were regulars.
The atmosphere was relaxed, as it wasn’t overly busy, and the salad bar was fully stocked with fresh options. However, the hot items could have been presented more attractively. Some of the labels on the food items were also incorrect. For example, when we arrived at 6 p.m., the signage indicated oatmeal and grits were available, though they were actually serving soups. Additionally, the main protein options could have been better stocked and replenished more frequently.
A personal highlight for me was the dessert selection, particularly the gummy bears. I do miss the cotton candy, which used to be a fun and unique treat at the restaurant. Throughout our meal, Susan took excellent care of us, ensuring our drinks were always refilled and promptly clearing away empty plates as soon as we were finished. It was evident that the staff worked together as a cohesive team to provide top-notch service.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and I’m certain we will return. Next time, we will be sure to request Susan’s section. You truly have a fantastic team, and we look forward to...
Read moreHorrible everything!!!!! My first and LAST time eating there. Sunday went there, waiting almost an hour to get seated. Got up to the paying station, was informed that they were out of kids drinks. I said that’s fine. So we got water. Went up to get food. Looked down where they put he plates, there were plates that was still dirty and had food still stuck to the back. All those workers passing by the plates and not one picked up the dirty plate. The lines were super long...looking for some good kids food for my daughter...5 minutes later, I’m still up there looking...they were out of Mac and cheese, had spaghetti but out of meetballs, no chicken nuggets, no spring rolls, no nothing. All they had was pizza. So that’s all my daughter ate there. My turn. Was up there started from the left side going down the row to each displayed food...80% of the displayed food trays were EMPTY!!!!! By the time I reached to Last food display, I only had 2 items on my plate, their chicken didn’t look cooked all the way, broccoli looked old, the steak they cooked looked like a burnt cookie, their ham was dried as hell. They had some chicken that was mixed with some kind of sauce never seen or eaten before, tasted horrible!!!!! there was absolutely NOTHING good there. The whole time I was trying to think positive, decided it was time to check out the desert. I was hoping that the desert would at least cover for the horrible food...walked over to find that the chocolate fountain broke! One bite of the piece of chocolate cake I got, I spit it back out, it was so cold and was not moist at all. Just OVERALL ZERO STARS!!!!! I wish I never spent the money to eat their. We will NEVER GO...
