Im not sure how long this particular location has been open but it seems their operations aren't very smooth. Although minor, there were mixups every step along the way that I find unusual for Chick Fil A (I usually go to Lynnwood or Bellevue).
The guy taking my order couldn't figure out how to work the card reader and said that it was going to charge my bank account associated with my CFA app. I knew it wasn't going to work, and after I sat down he came and got me and said my card isn't working (it never even took my card). He went and got a manager and then it actually charged my card and worked just fine.
He also forgot to give me straws, but at this point I'm just nitpicking. When I got my order delivered, the guy gave me three bags even though all I ordered was a grilled nugget. I told him this isn't all my order and he took the rest back. Simple mistake I guess. But I then open my nuggets and there's only 6 instead of 8 nuggets. I figure I paid for the 8 so I should go ask.
They did end up giving me the proper 8 count nugget but it was kind of odd the way they handled it. I felt like they were giving the impression that I was scamming them out of two chicken nuggets.. yes really. The manager came over and said he's pretty sure he saw it was an 8 count but we'll get you a new one anyway. Only got an apology from the girl at the counter. Felt a little odd considering they were treating me weird even though they kept messing things up.
Albeit minor, I figure it was worth mentioning because Chick Fil A usually always has everything down. The dining room guy was friendly, but the vibe in here just overall isn't the same as other Chick Fil A's. I feel like if this would've happened at Lynnwood they would've been apologetic and fixed it instead of making me...
Read moreI have been coming here with my classmate recently. I live in the military base and usually go to Chick Fil A on the Bridgeport Avenue. I never really dine in or takeout, always curbside order or drive thru but today I decided to do dine in at this Chick Fil A location.
I am amazed with the crew and the speedy service yet proper and outstanding. Elizabeth helped take care of my orders and she did amazing in terms of service, just a little quiet when she spoke. I was pissed because I couldn't use my phone app because apparently I need to update it and it kept crashing. I only had 30 minutes break and hadn't eaten anything at all since morning at work and afternoon at school. So I decided to just ignore my app and went ahead to pay but since I have almost entirely moved to Samsung pay, I always left my wallet in my car. But I was so pissed that the machine kept undetecting the android pay NFC signal despite of many attempts, even with different cards. I left to grab my wallet grumpily because I didnt have much time to spend for my late lunch (3 pm till 3.30 pm before my next class begins). Elizabeth patiently waited for me to come back and apologized for what happened, which I believed not her fault at all.
I was mad at the machine, in which is a part of company's equipments. Please, as the manager, routinely check your equipment and make sure everything operates smoothly and properly. I felt bad that Elizabeth thought I was mad at her. Other than that, Chick Fil A's Cobb Salad is amazing! I have been trying to cut and eat healthier. Cobb salad is just perfect for me! I would come back again next time to try their two other salads!
Keep it up, crews!!! Props to Elizabeth too for handling me calmly...
Read moreI saw the most impressive thing I've ever seen at a fast food restaurant yesterday. Last night going home after work, I was hungry and had a 90 minute drive home. All of our restaurants are closed except for to go orders. I figured, based on my experience, Chic-Fil-A would have the best cleanliness practices and standards, so I headed there. No surprise, I found a two lane line, of over 30 cars already there. Not having much confidence in a "Burger King" sanitation standard, I chose to wait it out. Much to my surprise, I was in and out of there in less than 10 minutes. They had at least 8 workers outside assisting at all levels. It was truly amazing! They came to my car and processed my order, moved us all along to someone who took our payments, and when I got to the window, two cheerful workers were there with my food in hand. It was hot, and delicious, and took no more time than you would expect with 3 cars in line on a regular day. That takes serious planning, and dedication to service, executed under difficult circumstances. Seriously, it was emotionally uplifting to see them work, knowing what was involved to make that happen. I thank them all very much! (And every one of them had a sincere smile on...
