Bradley Lake Park is one of my favorite places to go for a short walk. The main trail is just .8 miles, paved and wide. Then there are side trails for a more woodsy experience. I love to go there, especially when it's not too busy, and listen to nature. There are several species of squirrels, all sorts of birds from the tiniest to bald eagles and, of course, water fowl. I even saw some bunnies out there. Park staff does a good job of keeping the main trail clear, even plowing the snow on the main trail in the middle of the winter. The park is dog friendly and kid friendly with a fairly expansive playground. Parking can be a little tight on beautiful, sunny days but a little patience will get you into one of the 3 parking areas (main, across the street, or in spots along the road) within minutes. Oh yes, there are two baseball fields as well, and lots of grass, a covered picnic area, and along the trail, places to sit. They stock the lake once a year with trout and a few other varieties of fish so, it's a really nice place, especially for the young and the elderly, to access fishing without long hikes. Like I said, I...
Read moreGreat remodeled kid play area! There are two separate play areas one for younger children that has a soft spongy ground cover. And one for older kids that has a variety of climbing activities in it. There's a bathroom for both men and women, but bring your own napkins. Beautiful Trail around the small Lake, easy enough for everyone to walk it. There are picnic tables scattered throughout the park, so you can eat at one where everyone is at, or you can find a more secluded one on the back side of the lake. There is a great covered area, full of picnic tables and a few BBQ Pits. This is up for grabs first come first serve, or you can rent it for about $125 for 2 to 3 hours , and have it for your own. This park is also very convenient to Walmart, it is...
Read moreMy 5 year old and I came to the park for him to ride his bike and me to walk. He also played on the playground. It is a nice walk with lots of families, dogs walking, and elderly frequenting it. There are a lot of Canada Geese here which means their poop too. It doesn't bother us in the slightest but it is one of the biggest complaints I've heard from others. The playground has a lot of variety but it is close to the parking lot which is close to the road so keeping your eye on little ones is important. This park is clean and well maintained. A couple years ago there were too many homeless present and it was beginning to feel unsafe, I am glad I gave it another chance...
