Wow. DJ and Sejung are the most friendly and caring couple with the best bubble tea around Puyallup to match. Great menu for a reasonable price. Pick anything, and it will rock your world. Spotless, contemporary store with an awesome crew that just wants to make your day. It’s an overall chill vibe with a small but cozy order line that keeps the action close up for enjoyable perusing. NOT to throw any shade to other bubble tea shops in the South Hill Mall, but it’s not even close to the difference in quality and variety. Also, let me let you all on a secret with this menu. Tea Story has a flavor of bubble that will not be found at any other store in the Seattle Tacoma region. It’s up to you to find it. Seriously. Cannot say enough good things about this place that’s not even a week old. I drive by the mall all the time for work and will definitely be popping by to grab a quick, refreshing pick me up to keep me going strong. My go-to boba spot! If you’re a fan of boba, you know how hard it is to find a favorite place. Tea story is my favorite for the following reasons: 1. All flavors are vibrant— not watered down 2. They are generous with their toppings 3. The service will never fail to put a smile on your face.

Here’s some of the things that REALLY impressed me: Their strawberry milk boba is NOT the usual artificial pink dye milk— it’s sweet milk with REAL sweet strawberries. The flavor confirms the fresh and pleasant flavor that can only come from using natural ingredients. Their tapioca pearls are the PERFECT texture! I can confirm as someone that has bought countless bobas in many shops. Their pearls have that soft chewy texture you want and should expect from a good boba spot.

My experience at Tea Story was positive. The service was attentive and the staff made me feel welcome. However, it's worth noting that the preparation of the tea was a bit time-consuming, so patience is advised. But OMG try the CAFE MILK TEA it’s amazing
