DON’T EVEN BOTHER
Walked in at noon for the lunch special. Owner sizes me up, decides I must pay dinner prices—no discussion. I ask for crab claws; they bring out bargain-bin scallops instead and play dumb. Every dish tastes like it went straight from freezer to oven, zero seasoning, sky-high prices. This place has fallen apart since the pandemic. I’m done—take this as your warning.

Thank you for your quick response. I really wish your in-person service could match the promptness you show online.
As for that day, I asked for a recommendation, and you suggested claws. I assumed that meant either crab or lobster, or something similar with a shell. You then insisted I had to pay dinner prices (for $26, which I can show on my credit card history if needed).
The menu is visible everywhere—what do you mean by a $3 discount? It seems you assumed I didn’t know what the lunch specials were and took the liberty of making a change without asking me.
As for the "scallops" explanation—are you trying to say that scallops have claws, or that "claws" is somehow a nickname for scallops? I really have no idea where your confidence came from.
That day was my wife’s day off. I didn’t want to ruin her mood by engaging in a debate with you. So I quickly ate, pretending everything was fine. She trusted your restaurant, despite hearing rumors about the changes since the pandemic. She used to have great experiences in Quincy and believed in your service. That’s why we chose to come.
"You assumed there was a communication barrier"—I think it’s more accurate to say you assumed I was just another tourist who wouldn’t speak up, and took advantage of that. Is this how you treat your customers who show trust in your business? I’m deeply...

Read moreThis is a tasty hidden gem close to the city without all the hogwash of traffic to the north or south shore beaches. There’s also a parking lot behind the main drag for ease. It’s right in North Quincy center and both a restaurant and a seafood pound with relatively reasonable prices for the cooked foods. On deck was the chicken lobster special that comes with clam chowder, lobster bisque, lobster roll with onion rings, chicken finger plate, and crab cake dinner. Tasty deliciousness to the max! Fried items are crispy and tender. Lobster roll slightly on he small side served on a frankfurter roll and tossed lightly with mayo and celery. Onion rings were fantastic. Clam chowder had ... clams and creamy goodness. Lobster was boiled perfect and the bisque was - BISQUEY. Also they have the good chicken fingers. Staff attentive and helpful even t was one of those serve yourself after you order joints. Live seafood was bountiful albeit on the pricey side for fresh seafood. Check it out, you...
