ZERO STARS if possible. Girlfriend and I used to be frequent guests but service simply has deteriorated with time. However, since the food was adequate, we continued ordering takeout. Nonetheless, last time we dined there, we felt it at its worst. We walked in after a couple and before another couple. Both couples were white meanwhile my girlfriend was Asian and I was Hispanic. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, we felt the resentment; we were treated different and not even acknowledged. The hostess reminded the servers about the other couples (the pair that came before us and the pair that came after us) but failed to remind anyone about us sitting at a table. The hostess was visibly seen using her cellphone and giving us her back; we waited for 15 minutes and decided to leave. No, I am not using the race card for that one incident; unfortunately, it's not the first time that we get treated inferior. The previous occasion, we had a server who was all smiles to the table next to us and simply didn't care to engage in conversation with us other than ordering our food and bringing us the check. And before that, same thing happened to me with my best friends. I had vouched for this restaurant so they were very excited to go to this place that I had spoken so highly of. All 3 of us, Hispanic guys, walk into this American restaurant and simply walked out with utter disappointment. The server's attitude and the lack of attention from the hostess were too much to bare with. Each single time, I kid you not, EACH SINGLE TIME that we have ordered takeout, our order gets messed up with the last occurrence being on 12/3/2018. Animals get better treatment than that and the fact that you can't get it right while eating there or simply ordering takeout not only prevents you from having repeat clientele, but it refrains them from complimenting your establishment and instead having to knock it down with negative feedback. Definitely not a place where minorities...
Read moreSo I took my granddaughter there for her 16th birthday dinner with my daughter and two grandsons the service was absolutely terrible and I’ll explain. The food I ordered which was the steak tips with potatoes and veggies came out cold so when I tried looking for our waitress there was not one to be found on the floor so I decided to walk up to the bar after waiting 5 minutes with my plate of food and ask the bartender if she could find my waitress at that time I believe the manager heard me asking for my waitress as I was holding my plate of food in my hand so she came over and asked me what was wrong and I explained and she took my food back but then when a different server came back she had an attitude about her as she handed me my plate. Then I was looking to order a second glass of wine and again I could not find my waitress so I had to ask another server who you can tell was aggravated that she had to wait on another table that was not hers. I also mentioned to our waitress that it was my grandaughter‘s 16th birthday and she was in from out of state and she Siobhan our waitress gave a half a smile. One would think being in that line of work where tips are important you would think that you would give awesome service especially when people still are going out in this bad economy. But I’m not done yet, as I said in the beginning my daughter and two grandsons also joined us and my daughter left a nine dollar tip in cash and wrote cash on the receipt Yet she was charged $18 for a tip so Siobhan the waitress added on nine dollars to my daughters debit card and took the nine dollars cash too???? This is unacceptable and I hope no one else goes through this I know for sure myself and my family will not return there ever again . Also the place was Empty 2 people at the bar and my party of 5… If you are going to pay on your debit card and pay Cash tip Watch your Drbit card folks..You have...
Read moreMy husband and I came here for Saturday brunch and it was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve ever had with food. Ambiance is ok - music is heavily country focused which is jarring at 11:30 in the morning (and grating on the ears after about 3 songs). The place is clean, well lit, and the staff are attentive and friendly. However, once we ordered food and it arrived it was all downhill from there. I ordered breakfast tacos, thinking I’d receive something fun and well seasoned; you know, like tacos. What I got were two cold flour tortillas with scrambled eggs on top of raw tomato and onion with two strips of bacon thrown on top. Nothing seemed to have been seasoned at all (honestly, we’re not sure the chef knows about salt and pepper) which made for shamefully bad food. The home fries weren’t - they were cubes of fried potatoes which, again, had zero seasoning whatsoever. My husbands chocolate chip pancakes were flat, boring, and similarly lacking in flavor. How do you screw up pancakes? We don’t know, but they managed. The overwhelming flavor was sweet (it wasn’t even good chocolate) and all I could hear was Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry saying words like clagy and sickly to describe the culinary disappointment that was this pancake. We will not be frequenting this establishment ever again unless we’re taking the in-laws (who hate flavor). If you hate seasoning or your taste buds, this is the place for you. Otherwise - HARD PASS. Check out Idle Hour or The Fat Cat for a superior...
