I'm giving only one star based on the unacceptable customer service that I received. I have NEVER had another experience that compares to this one. I went in to buy a drink and while in the store I asked if the donuts where made in house. The man behind the counter - likely the owner- told me they are made in the store daily but not by him. My daughter who was with me, asked for a donut. Since it was close to 4:00pm and they had a lot of donuts in the case, I asked what time the donuts where made. I think a very fair question. Obviously, I wanted to know that they were made semi recently and not from the morning. The man behind the counter unraveled! He started to yell at me saying, "I said daily, I said daily! Get out if your not pleased with our stuff." I then said I thought it was a fair question and that just set him off again. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I thought he may jump over the counter and attack me. As I said above, I have NEVER had any experience like this. Read moreI went in with my daughter today, and she wanted to have donut holes and a custard filled donut. The lady knew that she wanted a glazed custard because she pointed at the ones she wanted, but gave her a chocolate custard filled instead. She came up to me and said that she didn’t get the one she bought, and I became quite upset. I told her to go back and ask for the one she actually wanted for the one the lady gave to her. She came back to me saying that they don’t allow refunds. I understand they don’t allow refunds but my daughter is only 9 years old. She is only a child, and the lady should have asked her which one she wanted instead of giving something random. So I went in with her and I asked her if I could please get the one my daughter actually asked for, and yet again showed me the no refunds sign. Then she started an argument with me by starting off saying she didn’t ask for one she wanted and I was very aware that my daughter asked for what she wanted. I just sparked at the end telling her if I can get the donut my daughter wanted AND payed for, and in the end giving me it saying she doesn’t want us coming back ever again. Read moreFirst of all, I’m not pulling the race card but I’m being descriptive. The Asians who work in the back of this restaurant are racists. They do not like non-Asians and anyone with skin darker than theirs. I am always given a look of disgust from the Asian lady who works in the back. I’ve watched her interactions with others but she “shuts down” emotionally when any minorities come to the counter. Everyone else is greeted with a smile and treated nicely. This is unfair treatment. A few of my co-workers were talking about the inconsistent customer service at this donut shop. One of my co-workers is from India and she stated that she isn’t treated nicely either, because they don’t seem to like people with brown skin. We have been coming there to support your business, but if you are so full of hatred and racism that you treat us differently, we’ll take our business elsewhere. I’ve stopped investing in nails salons, beauty supply stores, dry cleaners, and restaurants. Until we see better treatment, you will not get another penny out of me or my family.
