I am not a fast food consumer 2years ago was the last time i visited bojangles and when i want to get some fillet chicken and bowrounds i go to the bojangles off Atlantic ave because is close by where i reside and for several times past that i have been there i was received with a smile and great customer service but this day 11/4/17 was different the young lady and young male that took my order when i came inside to order my food was great but when things went bad is when i left with my order and i open the bag and find out my order was not complete and i came back in to let them know that i needed my bowrounds and they told me that i have to pay $2and some change to get it which is not a problem and i was explaining to both of them that if you look at the picture on the menu it has four bowrounds and chicken fillet biscuits on the plate and it says $3.09 and the young man was telling me that's not how it works that if i look closely down on the right hand side it says i have to pay more and i told the young man that the picture needs to have the chicken fillet only for $3.09 instead with the bowrounds which the young man understood where i was coming from and he was calm and very respectful but when he called the Hispanic lady that seems to be the shift manager when she came over i was explaining to her what the problem was and was pointing to her to look at the board where the menu was displayed that the pic has bowrounds and chicken fillet for $3.09 that's when she she said don't point your finger on my face that was not my intention all i was doing was pointing out the false add on the menu then she gave me a warning that she's going to go ahead and give me the bowrounds and the ice tea that i should not try this again. First all when i place my order i didn't order ice tea because when the young lady ask me about ice tea i said no i just want the chicken fillet and bowrounds because I really don't like ice tea especially that time in the morning so i don't know why the Hispanic shift manager was so rude and disrespectful to me, she spoke to me like I'm a kid or i came for a free food i was so distrust that i have to tell them to refund my money and keep their biscuit then i took my business to chicken fillet where i was not humiliated will never go to this bojangles again. Customers be aware and please bojangles try and make a correction to that picture because...
Read moreOrdered the biggest Bo Box they had. As I understand it a Bo Box is an assortment of Chicken with all the fixins. PLUS we ordered a chicken tender meal. This was in the drive thru, the price was 65.00 After we paid were asked to pull forward. This was no problem. And expected When they handed me a bag that barely fit in my window.. This also was expected.... the Bo Box was supposed to contain 25 assorted pcs of chicken. When we got home, we discovered we got 25 chicken strips... plus a side of chicken strips.... if it would not have been rush hour in Raleigh and too far back to go for returning it... that is exactly what would've happened. The order seemed pretty straight forward to me. And on both ends were fluent English speaking persons. I will never ever leave the parking lot again without verification of what's in the bag. I was driving, and my passenger glanced inside. But was as shocked as I was when we discovered we paid 65 dollars for chicken strips. !!!!, I'm going out on a limb here to suggest that they should know what a BO BOX IS..... check your food before leaving. The misunderstood English spoken order may come out kinda close to what you wanted... My own fault I guess for assuming the words spoken were the words heard even if they were the same words repeated when the order was read back... They used to be a highly recommended place for chicken from me. Now I'm suggesting approach with caution. And they got knocked down to I would advise a different place to spend your money on a dinner for...
Read moreTHIS is the Bojangles I had come to know and love when I first tried their chicken over 13 years ago! My son and I have visited many, many Bojangles in and around the Triangle, but none has served properly spiced chicken like this place. In fact, everything we've tried on the menu is perfectly cooked: silky soft biscuits, wonderful chicken filet biscuits, delicious Cajun rice and gravy, and best of all, piping hot, perfectly spiced, crunchy fried chicken.
My son and I first visited here on our way home from Sunday Mass and we decided to try this locale as we'd never visited here before. (I am writing this review after visiting this store many times.) While the restaurant is not heavily attended, or better, the crowd has been consistently elderly folks, we thought initially, the time to cook and deliver our meal was longer than we'd expected. That is, until we bit into our chicken. Aside from our first visit 13 years ago and I forgot the store location(!), I had never had chicken from Bojangles that had that perfect Southern spice, a touch of heat, crunchy, and so hot! My son had the chicken tenders and I selected the 2-piece dinner.
As for our wait time, it turns out that was a fluke, a one-time event because they've been as speedy as any other store in the region on all our subsequent visits. But in either case, the taste of the food really made the difference, and it's well worth any wait.
We're so happy we found this store and it is now the only one well visit for a great...
