This was the worst experience of my life. I have been going to this cookout place on capital Boulevard for several years and the prices have never change. Recently went to this place tonight at around 3 o’clock in the morning, and I usually order the same thing which is the same price a chicken style bacon sandwich, which is 4.99 for the tray. The tray comes with two size which is not an extra cost because it already tells you what the cost is for the sandwich that is a tray. The customer rep at the door charge me 7.99 for a chicken tray and on the menu it says that a cheddar chicken tray is 4.99 for the Tray. I felt so embarrassed, having to explain myself about this pricing, and even though the employee tried to give me the money back, I paid with a card and he tried half cash because he felt like he was in the right though the price shows a different amount. I felt stupid and dumb having to explain myself to someone on why this does not add up. I never want to feel like this again and this makes me feel like I would never, let anyone go to this place if this is how they’re...
Read moreI've been coming to this cookout at minimum monthly for 7+ years at this point and within the last 2-3 months the quality of service, cleanliness of the establishment and overall experience has gone down dramatically. After getting bugs in my drink twice in a row i think i have to swear off this location forever now. On top of this the service staff are absolutely terrible, i understand working at cookout is not fun nor glamorous, but if you treat me as if i have personally wronged you just because i want to eat at your restaurant and for no other reason then maybe just quit and find a new job. Service is deadly slow most days, and if you come after 9pm expect to wait a minimum of 30 minutes for your food. The drive thru and parking lot seems to have been designed by a blind man and the asphalt looks like its been through multiple world wars. Cookout was once the best possible quality and quantity of fast food you could get in this area, but has slowly degraded to the point of being somewhere i wouldn't trust to...
Read moreIn general this is a great location. Their speed and service were absolutely incredible. There was a line of cars out the parking lot and people around the walkup window, but I still got through relatively quickly. The food was generally good as well. Maybe needed a bit of extra char on the quesadillas but that's the worst I can say. There flavors were all good, everything was ready quickly and bagged up well, and the milkshakes are still the best. My biggest complaint is the layout of the parking lot. There are two drive throughs, but you can really only use one if you have a passenger. There are two entrances to the lot, but no real direction for how to get into the drive through if you come in from the Capital Blvd entrance - you have to either be aggressive or lucky to get in when it's busy. The general lot also has a decent number of sharper turns. Then to get to the only exit you have to drive past both of the entrances/lines and try to cut around anyone...
