Apparently coming with a group and spending 100's of dollars within a ONE HOUR stop was viewed as rude and disrespectful. Called days ahead to ask if it was OK to add them as a stop for our party bus brew tour of twenty, 50+ year old adults. Manager was gracious and said they'd have plenty of staff. When we arrived the bartender was annoyed, abrupt and questioned us saying they had no advanced notice. Who did we speak to? I tried to clarify and search my phone who I spoke to while my guest waited in amazement by his RUDE reception. A few minutes later I was confronted by the manager in front of my friends. In an annoyed confrontational tone she let me know the bartender felt we were rude and she didn't appreciate us. WHAT??? Both are an embarrassment to the service industry. Displaying entitlement and extreme rudeness to customers wanting to spend several $100 within one hour during early on a Saturday afternoon. The place was virtually empty. Owners should evaluate the employment of individuals that treat the public as they did. BTW...all the other breweries we stopped at were grateful for our business and showed it!!! 20 local beer drinkers will never return and will tell 20 people who will tell 20...
Read moreMy favorite brewery in the area. Why? Their brewer has that fine taste that can bring variety and touch to their beers. I prefer things like Reds, Lagers, Wits, but Crank also produces top of the line IPAs and more variety than I have an understanding for, but I've not heard any complaint except "dang, they ran out of my beer" for their special or seasonal makes. The atmosphere is cycling decor but they have several communities (cycling, jogging, yoga) and really concentrate on creating a community space and allowing canines. Their servers are so friendly and develop a relationship with their patrons. You can buy cycling kits, t-shirts, hats, canned beer, and they have a few small snack items but are Ok with you ordering and eating-in (i.e. Pit down the street or pizza) but truly this is not a place you just go grab a beer. It's a place you make friendships and come back for the people. The superb beer is just the glue that holds this all together. Stop by and open up a new chapter...
Read moreThe beer overall is good. I have met the owners before and they are great, awesome, down to earth people! The employees on the other hand are rude and blatantly ignored myself and my friends. It took 15 minutes of standing and waiting at the bar for any of the 3 bartenders to notice two of us so we could order our beers. It wasn't even busy and I had to let them know I was ready to order, and I didn't even get a "hello"... Once we were able to order, the short, female bartender with the dark brown hair gave us the biggest attitude. The environment is fun and friendly, but the employees make the experience the worst! I ordered the milk stout with nitro and half of the beer was "head" or foam. I had to ask them to dump half of it out so there was not so much foam, even though the foam on that beer is the best part, I think half foam is too much. I was really disappointed in the service and even though the beer is so great, I won't be returning because the service was...
