This is a great little neighborhood eatery. I have been there a lot, as it is steps from my office and home.

The menu is absolutely bonkers. They have everything from fresh juices to deli sandwiches, to hamburgers, to tacos, to made on the spot salads. On top of that, they have at least 15 different kinds of chips, complete with Paleo and vegan options. They have you covered for dessert as well, with a selection of cakes. I haven't had them, but a coworker says they are very, very good.

The food is solid. It won't get a Michelin star or anything, but it's good. I've had their sandwiches, burgers, and salads, and everything has always been tasty. The kid (who can be kind of a food snob) swears on the burgers and breakfast burrito. Coming from a kid who fancies St. Roche and Death and Taxes (if you know, you know), I consider that high praise.

The beverage solutions are even more varied than the chips. While there are no fountain drinks, there is a cooler with all manner of sodas, kombuchas, teas, sparkling water, craft stuff, and whatevers. No matter what you like, there is bound to be something for you.

Oh yeah, did I forget to mention the coffee? I'm not a coffee drinker, but I have a friend who works for a coffee roaster, and they told me the coffee machine is top of the line. I can't remember what kind of coffee they sell off and, but it's nothing to sneeze at.

As far as ambiance goes, it's a deli. However, it is generally spotless when I go in, whether it be early morning, lunch, or dinner time. If you're looking for New York ambiance or low lighting, this is not the spot, but if you want someplace clean and well lit,...

I had the Oakwood Philly! It was very good. They charge .50 for each addition. The sub was good but they dont fill the sub up, but as i said it was good. I didnt like that they dont have any fountain drinks but there is a large variety of can and bottle drinks. They range from about $3.50 up. I found this out by trial and error, no prices are listed for the drinks. I also had the carrot cake it was good but its very slim for the price. They have a wide variety of sandwiches and salads, and it cost by the pound if you want to make your own. They did give us a free cookie because it was our first time there. They have breakfast at 7am and stay open until 9pm. I may try their breakfast. I will definitely be back. I am sorry I forgot to take pictures of our sandwiches but I hadn't eaten all day. I know the location is downtown so there isnt alot of parking. I think there around 5 spots in front and street parking with is few and far between. They also have outdoor seating. Its a...

An employee of my husband’s recommended this deli. After looking at the menu, we were very excited to go try it and we went on Sunday morning very busy. I have to say it was a cute atmosphere. We moved through the line. Quickly employees are very friendly courteous. The food was made fairly quickly, especially given how busy they were orders were correct I got the pastrami sandwich and my husband got the breakfast. Reuben. I try to bite of my husband sandwich and he tried mine as well. Both agreed that the food was good. however, for the prices that you pay and I only took a picture of my sandwich for a $15 pastrami sandwich. They’re definitely should be more meat on this sandwich so I won’t be driving from Smithfield to go eat there if I’m in the area I would stop in again and try something else. I have to say it just about met my expectations for a deli. The photo below is of the pastrami that’s $15 and that’s all they put on the sandwich that was very...

This place is finally open!! On the corner of New Bern and Bloodworth St. Staff was friendly and helped with making choices. It was good, a little pricey for what it was. They do use Boars Head meat, so that is likely why. My husband got the Reuben and thought it was good. It just needed a little more thousand island - so be sure to ask for that. My son got the The West, which he Loved. I had the Legend, which was also good, but it also needed a little more sauce; this one had Bbq. We shared the carne asada fries, which were ok. The hamburger has an interesting flavor, not bad but different. I'll ask for ranch for those next time. They have breakfast, coffees, smoothies, and lots of drink options, salads, burgers, on top of the deli style sandwiches. We will definitely be coming back to this new neighborhood deli. I can't wait to try their breakfast. I'll update you when we go and add more pix.
