My children and I visited this restaurant on March 11 to celebrate my son‘s birthday.
We made reservations earlier in the week. On our way to the restaurant, there was an accident that caused traffic to be backed up, so we called the restaurant to let them know that we would be a few minutes late. Our reservations were for 5:30 PM but because of the traffic issues, we did not arrive until 5:50 PM. They said that they could still accommodate us but we would need to be finished by 7:00 PM because they had another reservation at that time. I was taken aback by this comment but it was my son’s birthday, so I did not question it especially since we were already late for our reservation. The more I thought about it, the more I felt that comment was a bit interesting; I’ve eaten at many many different ratings of restaurant and was never given a timeframe to eat. So that means that even if we were on time at 5:30 PM for our reservation, we would only have 1.5 hours to have a three course meal?? 🤔🧐
In any event, we decided to make the best of the situation and have an enjoyable time anyway. This became easy to do because of our server, Kelly H. She was absolutely exceptional! She was professional, friendly, detail oriented, observant, and took care of our needs in a timely manner and with a beautiful smile. To help expedite everything, we placed our orders for all three courses upfront so that there would be no additional delays.
The food was served in a timely manner. The presentation of the food was aesthetically beautiful. The flavors of each dish were superb. Everything was cooked perfectly with the right amount of moisture and great texture. We enjoyed every bit of it! I cannot say enough about how tasty, moist, flavorful, and presentable the whole fish dish was. That was my favorite! The quantity of food for all dishes was also sufficient and comparable to the price paid. Because we were conscious of the time allotment, and it was almost getting to that 7 PM mark, we packed the remaining of our food in a “to go” container to continue our birthday celebration at home.
I still have questions about the time allotment of 1.5 hours for 3 people to eat a three course meal; however, the food was definitely worth it and our server made our experience wonderful although we did feel rushed. I would have given this restaurant a 5-star rating if it wasn’t for the time constraints that were placed on us which made us feel rushed and unable to take our time to enjoy the food and the ambience.
As a direct result of the great food and our server treating us as valued customers and enhancing our experience at this restaurant, we will...
Read moreThis restaurant is an hour drive away from my home and I will gladly drive it anytime to get this incredible food. From the top notch beer and cocktails to the perfectly executed dim sum to the delicious and very well chosen entrees, this place absolutely never disappoints. We had an 8:30 reservation for 4 people and we got seated by 8:45 (this is actually pretty remarkable because the place was PACKED). We were there to celebrate our friends anniversary and treat them to dinner. To start We all had multiple cocktails, each better than the last, for an appetizer we had the SHANGHAI-STYLE MOONCAKES and the JIAOZI CHICKEN DUMPLINGS they came with a scallion relish, house dumpling sauce and chili crisp, DELECTABLE! They are of course great for sharing, and was a great start to our dinner. For the main course we did a bit of a family style dinner. We had the WHOLE PEKING DUCK, served with steamed Bao buns sliced cucumbers, scallions and a honey hoisin sauce, we really loved this dish, it’s enough for 3-4 people to eat. We also had the BEEF WITH LONGHORN PEPPERS, the LAP CHEUNG FRIED RICE and the SIJI DOU (green beans) this all made for a wonderful diverse meal that was easy to share. Our friend is a very fit firefighter and was able to polish off every thing we had left after the rest of us were full (he can eat A LOT!) He’s usually still hungry after dinners out but he said he was surprisingly full and content (that’s a win!). Since it was their anniversary the staff brought out 4 glasses of champagne and a cupcake with a candle in it to celebrate. It was a very sweet gesture and we really appreciated it. The entire staff was kind and helpful even though the restaurant was packed and hectic. They were all very professional and attentive. The only thing I could say was a problem was the noise, with a cement floor and high ceilings with no walls to muffle the sound it was extremely loud and difficult to hear. Since our reservation was on the late side people began leaving near the end of our meal and it wasn’t so bad. All in all it’s one of my favorite restaurants in NC. I highly...
Read moreI recently visited Brewery Bhavana and it was an amazing experience that I just had to share. This place is not just a brewery; it's a whole vibe. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming and cozy, making you feel right at home.
We decided to try a variety of their beers, and each one was better than the last. It's clear they put a lot of care and expertise into brewing. Whether you like your beer light and refreshing or rich and complex, they've got something that will hit the spot perfectly.
For food, we ordered the General Tso Chicken, Lo Mein Noodles, and Eggplant Pagoda. Each dish was a hit. The General Tso Chicken had the perfect balance of sweet and spicy, and the meat was so tender. The Lo Mein Noodles were packed with flavor, and you could tell they were made with fresh ingredients. The Eggplant Pagoda was a pleasant surprise, beautifully presented and deliciously satisfying, even for those who might not usually choose eggplant.
What made our experience even more enjoyable was the service. The staff at Brewery Bhavana are genuinely friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have a great time. They're knowledgeable about the menu and happy to make recommendations, which we really appreciated.
Another thing I loved about Brewery Bhavana was the interior. The place has a unique and stylish decor that adds to the dining experience. It's the kind of place that makes you want to take your time, enjoy your meal, and maybe order just one more beer.
Before leaving, we were already planning our next visit back. It's the perfect spot whether you're a beer enthusiast, a foodie, or just looking for a great place to hang out with friends or family.
All in all, Brewery Bhavana is a gem. Great beers, delicious food, friendly staff, and a wonderful atmosphere. It's definitely a 5-star experience and a must-visit spot. I can't recommend it...
