This was, without a doubt, the best Indian food I've ever had in my life. In all honesty, it was one of the best meals in general I've had in my life.
We started with lamb seekh kebabs, they serve them sort of like fajitas so plenty of smoke and noise, with a delicious sauce. These were fantastic, and the veggies it was served with were delicious.
My fiancee got the palak paneer, her favorite, apparently Soul's palak paneer puts most others to shame. She said this is ALSO the best Indian food she's ever had. I tried it, it was incredible. The cheese was perfect and the spinach was creamy and delicious, the whole thing seasoned perfectly.
I got the chicken biryani. Oh my God, this was INCREDIBLE! The chicken was falling off the bone, the rice was so delicious, the onions were crispy and caramelized. There were even fruits in there, figs I think??? The whole thing was seasoned beyond belief, layers and layers of different flavors, it was a thing of beauty. I'm going to have to try order other dishes, but honestly I don't know if I want to. That biryani was perfection. I could eat that every day of my life and, on my death bed, ask for seconds. Am I being over dramatic? Yes. Am I lying? No.
The staff was warm and friendly, the chef came out herself to check on us and talk about her biryani. She was the sweetest yet most passionate lady, I'll have to tell her next time how mind blowing that dish was. The waiter was very kind and attentive, everyone was undoubtedly passionate and excited, and that was infectious.
I will say, hilariously, the chef, the host, AND the waiter all came separately to ask how I was doing with the spice level. Ok, despite my appearance, I can handle some spice! š
The reason for this, though, is the biryani doesn't come in mild. The chef told us herself, it HAS to have a certain level of spice in order to make your "palate dance!" It comes with a raita, yogurt sauce, that cuts the heat without killing the flavor too much, and it's good! However, I preferred not to use it, it does dull the flavor just a bit.
It wasn't too spicy at all, don't get me wrong! It was PERFECTLY balanced with the other flavors, not overbearing OR unbearable. I wouldn't change a thing about that meal. Hell, it would be a tragedy to change a thing about that meal.
We also felt incredible after eating, like we noticeably had an energy spike and our stomachs felt better than after most meals we've had.
This is an enormously lengthy review, and I could honestly keep going. I didn't expect to have such an incredible dinner tonight, but I did. All I can say is I've found my new favorite restaurant, and if you try this place I think...

The Samosas are like edible love letters from India ā sealed with spice and deep-fried with affection. A crispy golden outside that is flaky and light, combined with a party of potatoes, peas, and unapologetic flavor that hits you like a Bollywood plot twist on the inside. Absolute perfection!
The Chicken Tikka Masala is a saucy superstar with smoky swagger and a spicy wink. It's a bowl of tandoor-kissed (FRESH) chicken in a velvet robe of creamy, tomato-spiced drama, thereās garlic. Thereās ginger. Thereās a whole spice cabinet doing the cha-cha in your mouth. Scoop it up with naan, chase it with rice, and prepare to fall into a buttery, spicy, utterly unholy love affair.

Unfortunately at this bar, the ice gets more room than the booze and the buzz is strictly emotional, so hopefully the second time's the charm for that. Either way this is a must visit for any Indian...

We began with the Gobi Manchurian, and it set the tone for the rest of the meal crispy, perfectly spiced, and full of flavor. For our main course, we chose the Hariyali Paneer, which was simply divine. The freshness of the herbs, the tender paneer, and just the right amount of tanginess made it everything we hoped for and more.
Every element of our evening was carefully crafted from the service to the flavors to the feeling of cultural connection. It truly felt like we were back in India, sharing a meal with loved ones.
