Tin Roof — Restaurant in Raleigh

Do NOT go here on karaoke night or EVER! We arrived at 9 and signed up for a song as it was my friends last night in the US and karaoke with us was one last thing she needed to check off her list. Another girl walked up in front us when were called and stole the slot we signed up for when it was finally called (2+ hours later). When we tried to explain the situation one of the guys at the stage (blond longish hair, black tank-top, and tattoos) started to scream at us and talk over us without listening repeating what was not relevant. Managed to hold off tears until I got home but I had only wanted to explain what happened he could of just politely said he couldn't help us. Instead he tried to escalate the whole thing for no reason! My friends boyfriend walked up to just see what was going on and the guy immediately changed his behavior being nicer to us (barely) but while trying to square up with him for no reason. We had to claim he wasn't with us to get the dude to stop. Even if he has had issues in the past to make him cautious with guys it was uncalled for. Honestly, the way he was acting he seemed like he wanted to start a fight. Hopefully, this was just an off night for the guy but it was truly horrible, unprofessional, and dangerous staff behavior. This the first time in all my years that I have ever had an issue at a bar. I will NEVER go here again and I STRONGLY discourage anyone...

I had a negative experience at this club, where I felt racially profiled and mistreated by the staff. I was falsely accused, humiliated, and disrespected, and eventually escorted out without any explanation. Additionally, I encountered some individuals who ganged up on me without justification. The situation was not properly assessed or resolved; instead, I was immediately assumed to be at fault based on my race. One of the bartenders, described as a chubby Caucasian person with glasses, even put his hands on me and flees to the facility. This incident involving racial profiling, humiliation, and disrespect is completely unacceptable. I attempted to resolve the issue with the night assistant manager named Todd, but he was uncooperative and engaged in arguments, also falsely accusing me. When I requested video footage or other evidence to support their claims, Todd refused, claiming that there were no video cameras on the premises. It's inconsistent to say that you record people without consent but then deny having the footage. I would have given this place negative 100 if there is an option…I remember him saying don’t ever come back to this bar again with hateful evil eyes like he has allergies to black people....

We came as a group and they were very attentive to ask if we needed to order more, but when the bill came they were not organized enough to keep the bill straight. They double charged us on multiple items. We were all able to tell them what we individually ordered, but they insisted they had the bill correct. We ended up paying them $40-50 more than what was correct. Very poor customer service and can’t recommend. A very rude staff member also came up to my friend and yelled/ reprimanded her for not moving when she said move. My friend was shocked and apologized because she didn’t hear her so she didn’t know where this was coming from. I couldn’t believe how rude this lady was to a customer. There was so much space with the social distancing, she could have easily walked around my friend. This echos other reviews on their customer service and their drinks were very mediocre but still $8-9 each. We came here because beer garden had a line out the door and tin roof was empty with tons of space. Unfortunately it was a mistake to give them our business. I would recommend others choose another place or keep a separate meticulous tab of your order because their staff unfortunately is...
