I will not be coming to this location anymore. It saddens me that I won’t be able to see my favorite baristas (Grace, Shay. Chris, Maggie, Sarah and Randy) anymore due to management. The management at this location seems to be a significant issue. During my visit, it was clear that the baristas were overwhelmed and understaffed, which affected the quality of service. First, the wait time was incredibly long. It took over 20 minutes to get a simple coffee, and there was no apology or acknowledgment from the staff. It was evident that the management did not schedule enough employees to handle the morning rush. Additionally, a few of the baristas appeared to be poorly trained. One barista, in particular, seemed to struggle with basic tasks, such as making drinks correctly. I observed several mistakes being made, which added to the delay and frustration for everyone waiting. What was even more troubling was hearing the manager openly speaking negatively about the baristas to other customers. This behavior is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. It creates a toxic work environment and certainly does not help improve the service. The overall atmosphere was chaotic, and it seemed that the management was not providing the necessary support or training for their staff. As a regular Starbucks customer, I expect a certain level of efficiency and professionalism, and this location fell far short of that standard.
If management changes, I will be willing...
Read moreMy personal favorite Starbucks in the area out of the new one in mahwah, on rt 17, the bug original one in wyckoff NJ. And the 2 in our town of Ramsey. This one is my personal favorite. The manager here is excellent. And so are the rest of the staff as far as I can tell. Anytime I've come here it's always spotlessly clean even when a line is the door on occasion. And I'm quite certain either the mangers thoroughness and personality shines through in their staff, or the managers choices in hiring g at this location shine through because everyone here is gr8. From the store manager trickling all the way down to any newly hired baristas. So as I said 5 Starbucks or so to choose from in this area. And this is by far above and beyond the greatest one around here within a 10 or 20 mile radius. And I've gone here for years on and off. The store changed many times aesthetically speaking. But always the manager n staff shine brightest here. All around. Including the upkeep or cleanliness of the store. Which is often overlooked or forgotten to be tended to when its busy. Well u wint find any of that here at this Starbucks. Always a gr8 place to be ANY day of the week. Ty for your greatness everyone at Starbucks #2 of Ramsey nj. Aka the full sized...
Read moreI normally don't write reviews but this really grind my gears. Completely disappointed and offended by this establishment. I'm a new mom and it's very limited to what I can do with a newborn. So I figured on a nice day I would take a walk with my baby to Starbucks. I am not comfortable bringing her in to any place indoors so I assumed I could a curbside pickup (they don't have a drive thru). I waited at a designated spot waiting to get my drink and when the guy came out he basically told me that this wasn't allowed because I didn't have vehicle. What's the difference if you hand me a drink through a window or to me? You're handing me my drink on a tray regardless, and I'm taking it from you. He said that if I want my drink I would have to bring my baby inside. Now if these were different times 100% I would walk in there, wait on line, and get my drink. But in these times where curbside is an available option- what's the difference?? Basically your telling me if i want a drink at your establishment that doesn't have a drive thru I have to put my baby at risk. Very...
