ALDI — Local services in Ramsey

I had a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AT THIS LOCATION. Tashaunda Was rude and all for no reason.

A customer and my self are waiting in line for her to notice she has people waiting to pay.

Then you hear from across the room “Sir you can’t just cut the line”

The customer and my self looked at eachother confused as who is she talking to.

I said what are you talking about we have been standing here waiting for you. She had no problem going back and fourth voice high.

Next this she gets on her mic for a manger to come and “ handle this customer “

When the other manager asked me what was going on I told her that Tashaunda has no idea what is going on…. Before I can say another word Tashaunda yells “ I can get loud if I want” I looked at her and said no body even said that so again what are you talking about.

Then she continued to yell and shout all these things this is not what customer service should be. She was so rude that we stopped shopping at this location. I was told a manager would call me on Monday so I waited to write my review but clearly they didn’t call. Now I’m not surprised why they let employees do what they do. I have no problem taking my business else where.

To the store manager I am still waiting for...

Today was my first time at an aldi’s when I entered I must say it was like a discount grocery store but it was clean I will give them that and it was very neat and organized. It was a decent experience and I felt relaxed and comfortable UNTILL I GOT TO THE CHECKOUT!!! At that point it was all down hill from there first of all the clerk that checked me out was beyond rude. And in this day and age with Covid going on they take your cart and give you the one that the person before you had REALLY PEOPLE !!!! what is wrong with this picture I took the time to clean my cart with my own Lysol wipe before I took it into the store and now you want me to use someone else’s cart that could be infected? When I told the checker I wanted to use my own cart she said no there was no time for that and proceeded literally to throw my things in the other cart unfortunately they are not taught to handle your stuff gently she just threw it in and damaged a few of my things. Mind you there was only one person behind me.Needless to say I will not be go back in...

Does ALDI have a policy which mandates its clerks to rush & vigorously throw your groceries in your cart at checkout? It’s traumatizing each time I get on the line knowing this will happen. There’s a clerk who does this every time. I ask her to please be careful not to damage them but she continues. Today, (12/21/20 @ approximately 6:36p) I experienced this hopefully for the last time. I’ve frequented this branch several times since it’s opening. As a faithful consumer for years, I want to continue patronizing this particular location. I don’t think it’s fair to go home with groceries that have been compromised or damaged because of this. If someone from corporate reads this review, please please I ask that this practice be corrected. I’m not sure if I’m the only one who’s experienced this but I don’t think anyone should. Overall, I’m so happy an ALDI store opened at this location! It’s clean and the atmosphere is calm.
