Panera Bread — Restaurant in Ramsey

First, after waiting a LONG time, I got my coffee order of 3 coffees, I realized that they shorted me 2 mediums for 2 larges and made them all the same size. Upon bringing this to their attention, they remade the coffees (or did they) after 10min I got the coffee order with some attitude as well as my mean order (which I did not check). When I got home 15min later... I found out that the coffee was absolutely bland and tasteless, hardly what you expect from a Cinnamon / Caramel Crunch (with Whipped Cream) and a Vanilla Late (all decaffeinated). Now, 2 of the drinks were marked decaf on the receipt but NOT on the printout) and these all tasted identical , no traces of cinnamon or whipped cream and no flavor difference. They also forgot my muffin. DISASTER costing me 20min and more than $20... this was the 2nd time in 2 times this has...

I, unfortunately, let a group of women in before me (I held the door for them) and I guess they were regulars because the server addressed them enthusiastically and then stood there chatting with them. I got a bit frustrated as this went on, since I was trying to pick up lunch quickly and head back to work, so I went to the kiosk instead. The kiosk wouldn't work so I got back in line and they were still talking. The line started to back up behind me. Finally, a man came over to open a new register and took my order. He was very funny and personable and is actually the only reason I added an extra star for service. The food was ready relatively quickly but the place needs a deep cleaning. Definitely not as clean looking as other locations. Also, when I got back to work and opened the half sandwich, it looked like mostly bread - I had to open it up to see the barely-there contents inside it. I probably will not be returning to...

Typically, I really like Panera Bread. The food is of good quality and taste; the offerings are varied and seasonal. Unfortunately, this particular branch does not have adequate service to accommodate its patrons.

During busier hours, the line and wait clearly overwhelms the staff, leaving customers frustrated and impatient. This contributes to errors in the orders, as well, leading to more frustrations.

This also is not the cleanest of branches. The floors and tables can't be bussed and turned around fast enough, leaving the restaurant feeling messy. On several occasions, cutlery received has not been thoroughly cleaned, with lipstick strains and food left on the "clean" pieces delivered to waiting customers.

Again, the food - when served promptly and with the correct order - is great. The service and atmosphere leave much to be...
