Bradshaw's Sandwich Shoppe — Restaurant in Rancho Cordova

So, this spot is fairly new. I don't know ifcits been open a year yet but, I finally decided to go check them out & try a sandwich. It's a small cozy shop connected to the convenient store at the gas station. I didn't know itcwas connected until after ordering my sandwich and looking around. I looked through a doorway that peers right into the convenient store. I'm not big on sandwiches but, every once in a good while I want a good one.. I know when I am Googling plantbased options this shop often pops up so itcwas time to give them a try... I ordered the "Veggie" sandwich. I was a little disappointed that they only had ONE option but, I was okay with all the ingredients except the aoili because I prefer dairy free as well but, I tried it anyway.. One thing I like is that they sell some of my favorite brand of potato chips from my adolescent years. "DIRTY" potato chips all flavors available. Had to get a bag to go with my sandwich. They also had a decent arrangement of beverages for sale in a refrigerated section along with a fountain drink station for those that prefer to drink sodas and iced drinks. I located some healthy coconut water that I liked alot. Need to find it in stores. I couldn't resist purchasing a cookie to go. They were huge but different. They looked good so I wanted to try one. Veggie sandwich has tomato, avocado, spouts, pepperchinis, olives, cucumber, vinaigrette & cheeses that I omitted. I chose sourdough bread and chose the 8in that was more than enough food for me.. They have 4in and 12in sandwiches too. They have kiosks but, whenever possible I prefer to order at the counter with an actual person. I'm just old school. Sandwich was good chips were nostalgic and the cookie is yummy crispy & slightly chewy, I broke off a piece in order to give my review because I didn't eat it yesterday. After I ate my sandwich and chips I fell asleep. So, I had a great 1st experience at tge Bradshaw Sandwich Shop just wish or hope they intend to add more items for plantbased or dairy free customers and more vegetable options like portobello mushrooms or grilled...

Seriously good sandwiches. I'll admit I was skeptical after visiting the first time seeing that the prices were quite high ($14 for an 8-inch sandwich), but I found myself craving the sandwich again after a week. I've been back once every 1-2 weeks since.

It's clear the bread is very fresh and high quality (soft inside but nice, chewy, but not tough crust), the sauces are unique and flavorful, and the meats are quality and cooked right. Also, very cool because they have Stubborn brand sodas, so even the soft drinks are a touch above the average you'd find at chain sandwich shops.

Additionally, the customer service is awesome. The folks working the register and making the sandwiches are quick, extremely polite, helpful, and knowledgeable, and seem happy to be working there. I hope this is a real indication of them enjoying working there, cause it's hard to fake/force. I believe I also got to meet the owner (or maybe manager?) when I went today. He was very nice too and I heard him talking to another customer saying he was trying to get to know the names of the regulars more. It's always cool to see a business owner or manager invested and active and not just "managing" from afar.

I do wish the price was a tad lower, but I can't knock it down a star just for that, as everything else is awesome. (The rewards program essentially equates to 10% back, so that helps too I suppose).

However, still waiting on those large soda cups to come in ;) then I can stop getting to go drinks from the gas...

Sunday, 4/23/2023 - Saw that this restaurant just opened not too long ago so we decided to try it for lunch. It is located right next to Shell gas station. They are connected inside. There is a Food 4 Less right behind the restaurant. It's a small restaurant inside. When we arrived, there was only one other person eating inside. There were plenty of tables. Upon arrival:

Pros:

1. Only a few parking spot. But we got front parking.
2. they have two self order kiosk. Or you can go to to the cashier to order.
3. there's a little condiment area.
4. drink machine is next to condiment area.
5. cashier was very nice.
6. restaurant looked clean.
7. we ordered the French Dip sandwich with au just dip. I must say! This sandwich was so good! Melting cheese all over. Dip was delicious. Bread soft. We got the foot long for $18.99.
8. soda from their soda machine was good.
9. lots of variety of chips to pick from.
10. there's a little area you can buy drinks or other small food items from.

Cons:

1. wished the can add mushroom to our sandwich. Lol. We love mushrooms with it. I didn't see on their menu where you may be able to order add ons. Oh well.

Conclusion: We like this sandwich shop. It was quick in, order, get your sandwich and out we go. Server was very friendly. Plenty of tables to sit at. Bathrooms were only a few steps away. If you wanted a snack, you can just walk right over to Shell gas station and grab ice cream, candy, or...
