I went to Popeye's Louisiana fried Chicken on 4th street and Vineyard location (ontario/rancho cucamonga boarder).Had $25 popeye's gift card and decided to use it. The girl at register took the card, put numbers in and said declined and gave the card back. This was the first time I tried to use it so I called for the balance, balance was $25. I went back inside and told them I just checked the balance and it was $25. This time she swiped it and said it's declined. She asked her coworker if he knew how to do popeye's gift card. He tried and still didnt go through. He just said yea its declined. He had no solution. I went to car and called card service. They said the balane is there and maybe they need to be retrained. I didnt have the app so they (card service) couldn't cancel and give me a new card, until then they said that i should try at another location. I went to another location on Foothill blvd in Rancho cucamonga, bottom line, =success. The person at the counter at 2nd location (rancho) said, you just have to wait for the pice to show up on the screen before input or swiping, it takes awhile to show up. I realize these things happen sometimes. Restaurants are trying hard to hire and train and when a person is new, its still a learning process. Its just the way they said declined and gave me the card back as if i was scamming them and offered no suggestions or solution. Update to this review. I went back to this popeyes chicken approx 1 month later to try to use my popeye's gift card becuse this location was closer to my home. The gift card was rejected and the lady at the counter said oh, im sorry popeye's gift cards don't work at this location. I Had to go to rancho cucamonga foothill location to use it SUCCESSFULLY!!! however the lady at the counter was much nicer than when i had this experience...

Very disappointed in the manager ( Vanessa ). My family and I always order online from this location and have never had a problem. I've rated this location 5 star until now. Last Saturday I arrived to pickup my order and mentioned to Vanessa that I was waiting through 4 customers ordering and receiving their orders before I received mine. I wasn't upset, but just wanted to let her know so that they could work on that. Once I received my order I noticed that my drinks were wrong, so I mentioned it to an employee and Vanessa stepped in to sort it out. She asked me for my receipt and I brought it up on my phone. She told me that I didn't pay for frozen lemonade, so I paid the difference. Then she told me that I didn't order 3 drink only 2. I showed her on my receipt that I ordered 1 medium combo and 1 large combo plus a large sweet tea. She argued with me for almost 5 minutes until I asked to speak to someone higher up than her , which she said that there wasn't anyone and told me to call the corporate office. I then raised my voice and stated that she made such a huge deal over a medium drink. She then said that she'll just give me the drink and proceeded behind the counter and started filling orders and again raised my voice and told her to just give me my medium cup because my family's food is getting cold. The cashier gave me a medium cup, straw, and lid. I said thank you and left after asking the cashier for Vanessa's name. Vanessa turned and gave me an angry look as I left. Very...

I have to say, getting my hands on this sandwich took some time and effort. My first attempt was in Arizona a couple of months ago while visiting my family. And in that location, they were out. My second attempt was in Ontario, but the line was too long and I didnt bother. My 3rd and 4th attempts were in Rancho Cucamonga. And on one of those days, the line was out the door, with a 4 sandwich limit per person. On the other day, I came face to face with a hand written sign on the door saying: we are out sorry. My 5th attempt was on a week day. I took a day off to get my car serviced and while waiting I reluctantly decided, with God's grace, to try Popeyes one more time. When I got there, I was surprised and shock to see a a semi-busy restaurant. And hallelujah, I finally got my sandwich. To be fair, the sandwich was pretty good. It was larger than I thought it would be and filling as well. What I noticed the most was how balanced it was. The crunch of the chicken paired nicely with softness of the bun. The savoriness of the chicken was balanced by the sweetness of the bun and the sourness of the pickle. There was so much going on in terms of textures and flavors, my tastebuds were surprised in a good way. And, on top of all that, every bite was consistent. So was it worth all my attempts and all...

I went here to take advantage of completing a customer survey and get 2 pieces of chicken and a bisquit if a large beverage is bought. I asked the front counter woman if I could which pieces of chicken. She checked with the manager and was told only leg & thigh were given. If you return to the same store where you bought it, you could choose your pieces of chicken. I dined inside, and the place looked clean. It's a small dining area, and customers are coming in regularly. The chicken was fresh out of the fryer and tasted delicious. I'll give this location on Baseline rd. & Ayala Dr. Overall 3 🌟 stars.

Floor supervisor lady prepares my order but I see she hardly put any gravy on my mashed potatoe and gravy container. I asked her if she could at least top it off but she replies she already put extra gravy in it. The most stingiest Popeyes location I've been too. I wonder where else they're cutting corners to save a few cents???
