This was my least favorite FG's location in the Plam Springs area, out of the three I visted my last time in town. They appeared to be overwhelmed (but it wasn't too packed), as though they had undertrained staff, and the manager couldn't stop calling everyone "boss" and "bud"...no customer is detained and under investigation and be referred to in such slang terms. Those nicknames are used to disrespect people, commonly by law enforcement while interesting with a suspect (🤣)...it was very peculiar for an employee to refer to customers as "boss" in my opinion. Their buns were burned, the service was unfriendly, and extremely slow. I won't be returning to this location and am willing to drive to a location further from me if necessary to avoid the weird greeting by the manager and subpar food. Also be more polite to the food delivery people. I watched the same manager be extremely polite to me just after being rude (for no reason) to a young man picking up an order for some delivery service. Everyone picking up food is helping this business survive a weird time in history and no one deserves less or more respect based on the assumptions of another, until given a reason. If you take the time, not sure of the address, I gave a great review of another local FG's location, go there and avoid this one. 🤷🏽♂️ Two stars, as my order was altered from "stock" and correct albeit with a chared bun and well...
Read moreI ordered online and was told my order would be ready at 7:54. I arrived at 8 PM on the dot expecting my order to be ready, only to have to wait another half hour for the order to be completed. I want to give the benefit of the doubt to the workers, as the public doesn’t know what happens behind the scenes, but it always helps to at least acknowledge whenever someone walks in or apologizing for the wait, but neither of those things happened. I noticed my order sitting on their counter for ten minutes before I had to walk up and ask if it was mine. I hate to sound like a karen, but this isn’t the first or second time I’ve had this happen here and it’s especially frustrating because whenever I do order from here for lunch, I run the risk of clocking back in late because I spend my whole break there waiting. I hope you can sympathize with my frustrations and I hope to come back soon and have a...
Read moreUgh. Decided to have a change from our regular In-N-Out burger which is consistently satisfying but a 15 minute drive. Ordered a bacon burger for me and grilled cheese for my wife and a large fries to share. Ordered online, when I arrived there was one other couple waiting for their meal but had to wait 5 minutes for the food to arrive. When I got the food home (5 minute drive) , the grilled cheese was cold, unappealing and missing some toppings we ordered, the burger was lukewarm, soggy and just looked plain disappointing, it tasted OK though. Fries were just OK. During the pandemic you would think these restaurants would go the extra mile to make their food more appealing, in Five Guys case this is not the case. Its a shame because it is located much closer...
