Thirsty's — Restaurant in Rapid City

We went here for the reviews. Customer service skills are so important these days. The sign in the entry says seat yourself. We sat there for awhile and finally a server came to our table. As were waiting this server was running around like a chicken with his head cut off. When he came to our table he was always rushed. As our order was placed i asked if the sandwich wrap had sesame seeds in the Asian warp and he demanded why i could not want them. Then as my beer was coming he was rounding the corner and half the beer was coming out of the glass down the way. He never came to ask if we needed anything. Mind you that the lunch crowd was small in the restaurant and it was not jammed packed or anything. When I asked about the order after we finished he got upset when I asked a question and stomped off saying he would take that off the bill, that was not my intent just a clarification on my order. This young server gets a BIG Fat F for failing simple customer service skills. He seemed always short and cranky towards his job. If you don’t like your job find another. My husband and I went to Thirsty’s last month! We were visiting Rapid City and it was the first restaurant we went to. I picked Thirsty’s because of their reviews! The atmosphere was great! I thought our server was so friendly. My husband ordered the Korean Chicken Sandwich with fries He really enjoyed it!! I ordered a Plain Jane burger. I didn’t order the bacon that came on it, but that was a simple mistake! We had also ordered the Mac N Gouda bites and we were never served them. They weren’t on the ticket so I think maybe our server got the bacon mixed up with the bites. I’m not sure!! Our server is a human not a machine, so I understand these things happen sometimes!
