Johnny's Pork Roll and Coffee Too — Restaurant in Red Bank

Best variety of pork roll sandwiches in all of central Jersey! That's not all! They also offer a variety of tater tots and pour over great 16 oz coffee from Asbury Park roastery for $2.50 and believe me, Johnny and his staff know how to serve it up. I couldn't believe how 100% on the mark Johnny was when he was taking about how to do a pour over. I do this every morning and he wasn't faking it. The man knows his stuff. He and his staff serve everything fresh. No heating lamps or microwave oven to heat it up. All orders are made after you put in the order. You can call, text though ChowNow or come in to place your order. Perfection all the way. I ordered the pork roll Rachel which had pork roll, swiss cheese, sweet slaw, Russian dressing on a beautiful grilled rye with a side of regular tater tots and coffee. Now the tots were exceptional but leave it to Johnny to kick it up 10 notches and offered jalapeno cheese, mazi pin pin sauce and ketchup in three different containers to dip those crispy tots. Phenomenal! Add that with coffee and the pork roll and it was pure Nirvana. The ambiance is a wonderful small town feeling with limited seating at the counter. Best part about sitting at the counter is being able to chat with the staff and get to know them and how they make things. Ron and Johnny man the cooking station as Kinsey was the cashier when I was there. Everything is constantly being cleaned from counter tops to the grill. Napkins are behind you where there's a shelf to stand by and consume your delicious sandwiches and sides should all the seats at the counter are taken. Do yourself a favor and help support this place because his food is the real deal. Johnny and his team have passion which they make everything with love and pride. I saw a video of Johnny's pork roll truck on a Facebook channel the other day and it looks so delicious I decided I was going to take a ride today I live an hour away so I took the ride down and I was not disappointed the young lady behind the counter (I forgot to get her name) was very nice and Johnny was also there, I spoke with them for a few minutes. cute little place I can't wait till all this covid-19 is over so i can go in there and sit at the counter and enjoy a nice pork roll sandwich. I got the pork roll egg and cheese sandwich and it was delicious just as advertised I also got the pork roll BLT the pblt which was also delicious I was well worth the drive down and drive back I highly recommend if you're in the Red Bank area or you want to just take a ride to enjoy a beautiful sandwich and a nice conversation go down to Johnny's pork roll and coffee ( coffee was great too!) in Red Bank New Jersey or find the truck I may try and find the truck this summer coming up enjoy guys oh p.s. I first discovered Johnny’s Pork Roll from his food truck in Asbury Park. My partner and I couldn’t pick which sandwich to get, so we got three, shared them all, and each one was amazing. Then we went back the next day because we were hooked. Fast forward to when he opened up this location in Red Bank, I make it a point to stop and grab a sandwich whenever I get even remotely close to the area! They’ve got the crispiest, tastiest pork roll you can imagine.

The team at the restaurant is super friendly, it’s a fun environment, and most important—the sandwiches are consistently fantastic! The ingredients are always fresh. The PBLT, the Pulled Pork Roll, and the Pork Roll Paisan are among my favorites. The classic is great too, but it’s always fun to try different combinations.
